My Tita sells many beautiful things from Morocco….Maybe some of you have seen her in some bazaars and in the American Women’s bazaar at the World Trade Center. These photos were taken long time ago but thought they were timeless to share. She has some new arrivals now….
This is the second thing my bestfriend Eds told me to do. Buy ” Nora Aunor” in the market! She actually said to just send someone to the market and have them buy it…but Mom and I went because we wanted to see for ourselves. Eds told me also to bring a tupperware to put the daing inside so that we could bring it home. It will avoid having your other things in your luggage/bag smelling like daing. Next time, I need to bring a really big tupperware so Ic an bring home more !! 
WOW!! They have a section dedicated to dried fish. How organized can they be? I told you someone is behind this!
We were trying to figure out which one was Nora Aunor…and the guy heard us talking and he said this one… called “NEW LOOK.” So we got some. We tried it and it was really good!
Though Eds told me that Nora Aunor apparently is seasonal……So maybe they were offering something similar called “New look.”

This is the collection of sleep masks my husband, James, has accumulated from all the different airlines. Well, all of these are now just set aside in the closet because he has found something better than all these…
He saw a sleep mask which I got from Rustan’s and it had cats embroidered on them…he tried them and loved them….he did not mind that it was feminine…anyway no one sees him when he is asleep :-)
So he asked me to buy him more in Rustan’s Essenses ( Essenses May 2, 2009 ) where I got them…he told me to keep stock so I had to buy four pieces to make sure he will always have one…I also got one for myself and got used to wearing sleep masks while sleeping…I noticed that I sleep better with the mask on :-)
Another great find!!! Again I am always thankful when I am able to find something my husband really wants! He is so picky! We have searched high and low for the towel that he likes. Even my dad is picky about his towels, he has to buy the Shangri-la Hotel towels because they are thick and absorb very well. So you can imagine the thrill I got when I found out that the towel my husband likes is right here in Rustan’s at Debenhams!! So this is now my favorite section in Debenhams!!
Make sure to choose the Egyptian cotton towels. They cost P 1,350.00 each which is well worth it!
And good news…they come in many different colors!
Debenhams has many other towels at very reasonable prices..
I spotted these amusing masks from Saddlebrown at Manila Polo Club and M Pulse at Makati Medical Center! With the swine flu going around, you may need these. Definitely in crowded or enclosed places and if you see or hear anyone coughing or sneezing, put this on right away!! and have some laughs at the same time For those who have cough or cold, hopefully they will be more conscientious to wear masks
This is my new favorite Irish Liqueur! Thanks to Tito Ralph for bringing this in and introducing it to us! Imagine it comes in White chocolate flavor! My favorite!
