The Witchkins Cookbook. To make the kids’ lives easier, Mel decided to segment the chapters of the book according to the momentous occasions in their lives, such as Mom and Dad’s birthday, Sleepover with friends, Christmas morning, to name a few. This way, they have a clear idea as to what dishes they can whip up for these occasions.

Check it out! The Witchkins should be out in bookstores (Powerbooks, Fully Booked, National) within the next few weeks. Congratulations to Liza Ilarde, Editor in Chief of TraveLife Magazine! Liza was also the Editor in Chief behind one of the top magazines in the country, Mega magazine. They were one of the pioneers in the industry. I noticed that when sharing albums with friends, one of the popular subjects is travel photos. People always want to see where you went, what you did and what you ate. Many always ask for travel tips before they leave for a trip. So this magazine for sure will be very helpful.
To quote from the Publisher, Christine Cunanan:
“It’s the only dedicated travel magazine published on a regular basis. It is written for the Filipino market by passionate Filipino travelers with real experiences and stories to share. It’s an original Filipino publication that aims to go international. Apart from Nationwide distribution, we are already available onboard the first and business class cabins and lounges of most major airlines flying out of Manila. TraveLife is literally going global. ”

By registering, you will get the emails direct to your mailboxes. You will still have to check your bulk folders especially for yahoo as they still enter there. I still need to figure that out.
It will be easier now to share the blogs with your friends - there is a feature below each blog “SHARE WITH A FRIEND.”
I have decided to take my blogging to a more professional level as many people have suggested it to me. Making money is not my main motivation for running this site. My main motivation is to grow and eventually make other people grow with me. It is just an added bonus if I do get people to advertise and support my work. My blog has gained me access to certain events. It has become a high traffic media outlet, and many have considered me as a member of the press. It has been a very busy yet fun six months since I started blogging.
The ideal part from blogging is the freedom it brings. I write whenever I’m inspired to write. Plus I get to spend my time doing what I love most-taking photos, documenting and sharing it with as many people as I can. I get to see many new places, new things, meet many people and learn from them.
THANK YOU so much to all my contacts in Multiply and to all of you who have been patient enough to accept all my blogs through your emails. Sorry for filling up your mailboxes. I am grateful to those who constantly follow all my blogs and take time out to respond. And to those who delete and don’t read them, you are still my friends :-) Just be careful, you might be blogged by paparazzi Rica!
Thanks to Arnel Patawaran, Editor in Chief of Sense and Style magazine, for featuring Mothers Club in its DREAMAGINE issue ( October ).
My sister, Tina, President of the Beacon Parent Association ( BPA ), invited me today to the BAKE SALE at the Beacon school lobby which is held every other Friday. The parents donate their homebaked goodies and food to sell to the students during snack time. All proceeds from the sale of the food goes to the BPA fund which is used to improve the facilities of the school. What a great idea and what super moms they all are for doing this for the school and for their children.
One of their main fund raisers for the year is a book which they concocted.
I am sharing this with you as I know many of you will find this very useful. I am a big fan already of the book even if I have not seen the contents because I am always asking everyone where they got what! or where I can get this or that! So i am sure this book will be very informative.

Thanks to my brother Mike who lent me the maiden issue ( July ) of Rogue magazine. From that day on, I have been seeing the magazine all over and friends talking about it over conversations. It is a Men’s lifestyle magazine but my girl friends are reading it as well.
Available at Mag Net, Fully Booked and Bufini. Soon to be available nationwide but as Mikko says, “why go through the trouble of buying it at the stands? Subscribe and get a deep discount!” And the unique feature of this publication is that it is like food or pizza, when you are craving for it, why not have it delivered right at your doorstep?
Thanks to Mikko and Miguel from Rogue magazine! Heart2Heart is giving away 20 FREE copies DELIVERED TO YOUR DOORSTEP of the newly released September issue of Rogue to the first 20 MEN that comment on the blog or email at rica@jaricmarketing.com.
I borrowed this book from my sister, Tina, since I heard and read about it. What a GREAT CONCEPT!!
A group of friends “compiled all their tried-and-tested, highly recommended resources-people and places we’ve grown to love, after years of living here in the Philippines.Silvia’s Book covers what you need to know during your first few years in this country. We’ve included all sorts of information:from where you can out of town for leisure, hire musicians for a party, and even find negative blood should you need it.”
