SALVATORE FERRAGAMO UNVEILS ITS AUTUMN WINTER 2010 ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN BY BRUCE WEBER
The group portraits are set in the midst of a primordial nature, which, with its captivating beauty, becomes the exclusive backdrop for moments of leisure.
The shots feature outdoor games in an atmosphere of relaxed elegance and a tranquil family setting surrounded by nature, in which animals and plant life play a part in the scene, helping to create a feeling of sophisticated energy and spontaneity.
Salvatore Ferragamo’s Autumn Winter 2010 Advertising Campaign was shot by Bruce Weber, who chose the exclusive White Oak Plantation at the border between Georgia and Florida as the location.
A natural park and wildlife conservation center, White Oak is home to animals at risk of extinction, enabling them to reproduce in a protected setting before they are released back into their natural habitats.
The women featured in the campaign are in the caliber of Stella Tenant, Bimba Bosé and Kirsten Owen with her two children; while the men include the model Peter Johnson with his children Kale, Lilly and McKenna, ranging from six to eleven years of age, guy Robinson and Kale.
The shooting took place in April 2010, the perfect time of year to capture the rebirth of nature at its most intense, offering an extraordinarily rich palette of greens, mosses, barks and blooms, with wildlife pictured in a handful of shots.
Indeed, it is this enchanting natural setting that emphasizes the extreme sophistication, fine handcraftsmanship and vitality of Salvatore Ferragamo collections.
The colors in the collection cover all the hues of the woodlands, while the tricot textures and leather jackets are intentionally rough and natural, and the leather in the shoes and bags have been knowingly crafted to enhance their natural and unique features.
The silk scarves printed with bright colors are pictured back in the environment that has always been a great source of creative inspiration for the brand and is the leitmotiv of the patterns and decorations: luxurious landscapes in the Savanna and forests, depicting wildcats and other wild animals.
In the Philippines, Salvatore Ferragamo is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists Inc.(SSI) and is located at Power Plant Mall, Greenbelt 4, Rustan’s Tower, Rustan’s Makati, Alabang Town Centre and Rustan’s Ayala Cebu.
This is Heart2Heart’s most favorite street ( Pasay road, Dasmariñas Village ) in Manila! It’s rare to find greens in the city and this street just changes everything- just drive through it from beginning to end - the whole street is just a beautiful arch of trees from each side meeting in the middle. Being in the city, I guess you cannot avoid those wires crosssing all over the place
Outside Manila, I took this photo in 2004 in Calatagan from inside the car - also beautiful
and we recently saw this in Pampanga
Andover, Massachusetts
Bohol
Heart2Heart is still on the lookout for more beautiful streets like these
From the Peak Tram terminal, just right beside is the Hong Kong Park. Again, first time to pass here…It was nice to walk back home to the hotel through the park, a pleasant walk
This place does exist and it is not in a movie! It is so beautiful and it is in our very own country!!
My friend, Frank, actually bought this place and it will be the site of his new beach house! He said it will be completed in a few months. It is 3,100 square meters with a nice private beach and pier located in Davao. Thanks Frank for sharing your home with us at Heart2Heart, hopefully one day we will get to see it for real
Meet Frank! and look at the fish he caught and will be eating for meals :-)
Thanks to Mom for discovering this beautiful place through one of the guidebooks. Right after breakfast we went here. Aside from the beautiful gardens..it seemed like everyone enjoyed taking photos :-)
My good friend and neighbor, Tillie, will soon be renovating her house. So I made sure that I invited myself over to take photos of her beautiful garden which I love so much. I like the animal figurines which she put all over the garden. Whenever I see her garden from her cozy living room, I feel so happy and peaceful.
I was feeling so bad that it will soon be gone but I am sure she will have a more beautiful one when she has her new home
Heart2Heart is so happy to finally feature Denise and Heart Warmers! What a nice brand name! Heart Warmers offers elegant and quality stationary products.
I am always on the lookout for great places for the kids to go and I recently heard about Forest Club and found out it was owned by a friend, Robbi Mercado. And just a few weeks ago, Jaime went there with his class…..and HAD A GREAT TIME!! Since our kids grew up in the city, it is always good for them to rough it out and experience nature…Forest Club seems to be the PLACE TO BE. I hope to visit it one day. Thanks Robbi for taking photos for me, next time I want to do it myself…

Despite the intermittent showers and the wet surroundings, 37 Grade 6 students fromBeacon International School visited Forest Club last 21 February 2008 for a whole day of fun-filled learning activities.
The field trip was organized by Teacher Trixie who brought her students to Forest Club to help them learn more about their current science studies on seed plants.
The first activity was a short but lively discussion over langka and banana turon, kamote-que and fresh buko juice on the rich bio-diversity of the Philippines, the current state of deforestation and the urgent need to plant trees in order to help protect the country’s dying flora and fauna.
The Forest Club staff was pleasantly surprised not only with the kids’ grasp of current environment issues but more so by their animated commitment to doing their part in saving the earth.
Then came the fun part: the Eco Adventure activities.
The kids enthusiastically participated in games meant not only to be fun but also designed to develop more appreciation for Mother Earth.
Showering after the mud crawl…
After lunch the students were toured around Forest Club. They were shown the herbal plant gardens, the vermicompost facilities and were also made to plant hardwood trees seedlings. Forest Club will nurture the narra seedlings for the Grade 6 students until these are big enough to be transferred to the Beacon International School campus.

Ananyana Resort, Bohol - This entry is dedicated to my Dad who is a nature lover and is a regular viewer of Heart2Heart……Thanks Dad for always showing us the beauty of God’s gift….NATURE!Yvonne was right when she told us about these crabs… definitely a National Geographic moment. Thank you for sharing this once in a lifetime experience with us. Javier made sure that we got up early in the morning to witness this so he could catch some of the tiny crabs that come out during low tide. It is quite tricky because when they know you are coming, they hide under the sand and dig holes. But in some areas, it is a bit more difficult to dig so it is easier to catch them….. of course, after catching them, the kids send them back to the water where they belong……..share with a friend
