Don Eduardo’s

By | Foodie | 5 Comments

James and I went to try out the new restaurant of my Lola which recently opened.  She named it after her husband, my Lolo Eddie. I used to live with him when I was a kid and he was my number one listener as he listened to all my corny jokes and weird stories which I invented 🙂 I miss him! So of course I made sure we went to try it and definitely will be back!!

My dad and my brother are named after my Lolo, so there are actually 3 Eduardos in the family.

I hope you can go and try out Don Eduardo’s.   It is located in the old Mezzalunadsc_9200.JPG

Choto Stop and New Hatchin

By | Finds, Yummy! | 13 Comments

Hmmm… it seems like Japan is a favorite destination this year…. so for those who are craving for Japanese food or something Japanese, check this out! Of course nothing will be the same as being actually in Japan and the assortment they have there…

Since Coop closed down ( Sango and Coop March 1, 2007 ), I have been waiting for them to relocate.  Thanks to Kai for telling me about Choto Stop which is in Japan Town near one of our favorite restaurants, Kikufuji (Kikufuji November 11, 2008). Sorry for the unclear photos, I was hiding from the Japanese owner who might stop me from taking photos 🙂  It is much bigger than the old COOP and seems to have more things

Located at 2277 Chino Roces Ave., San Lorenzo Village, Makati

And another one which my cousin, Ana, told me about.  It is located between Metropolitan st. and Sacred heart st. behind the Makati Post Office and near Sacred Heart church. I went only once and was not able to take photos.  But it is a very decent, clean and nice mini japanese grocery. They even have a meat section

Mariza, Nic, Mig and Iya

By | Beauty, Fashion, Photography | 8 Comments

I am so thrilled every time someone asks me to take photos of them…though I am not a professional photographer, I act as if I am 🙂  and I say yes!  I took photos of 3 young adults to help them out with their set cards.   Of course I cannot say no to them and of course I want to help them.  I am not a stylist nor a designer nor a photographer with special equipment so these are all fun shots and who knows if one of them become famous… I will be the one to claim fame that I took their photos when they were just dreaming of becoming a star 🙂

These are two year old photos except for the ones of Mariza which were just very recent.

2009 South East Asia Youth Baseball-Softball Tournament (Seaybst)

By | For kids, Sports | 2 Comments

Thanks to Mykie and Keiko for inviting me over to watch the baseball game of Tony!! I drove all the way to Ateneo to see the game and it was worth it.   I always wished my two boys would take baseball but they never seemed to be interested.  So, when I see the little boys playing out there, I am so amused!

I dropped my Malcolm’s burger 🙂  which I was eating and started to jump and jump with joy just like the other parents and players there!
