Happy Birthday to a very kind, generous, simple and accomplished young man! To the man behind Starbucks in the Philippines!! We are proud of you and we all love you!
He celebrated his birthday with us in Azuthai ( Azuthai July 3, 2008 )!! YUMMY! We were able to try three of their new dishes which were all very good! We all enjoyed and ate so much!
And a surprise visitor who is one of the bestfriends of my brother! 🙂

RICA! Thanks so much for the fab post! Wow, you guys ordered a lot!
Did you like the new Eggplant dish? And the new Lapu-lapu? My new faves.

Noey
wow this is really sweet of you 🙂 thanks!!!
Malu, we had so much food! Aside from the wide variety we had 2 or 3 of each dish. haha!! We took home a few. It was all very good. Yes we liked the eggplant dish especially Mom and James who are eggplant lovers. I like the lapu lapu that is why it has a bigger photo 🙂
This morning, I stopped at Starbucks (Rockwell branch) for my usual cap. Sitting on a bench was an mature gentleman and a child. They each had a little guitar. Sometimes they would play together and sometimes they would take turns. In between chords and chatting, they were enjoying breakfast at Starbucks. It was a perfect morning. The sun was out but it wasn’t too hot. And they looked like they were genuinely enjoying each other’s comapny. It was a heartwarming scene. Just had to share this “starbucks moment.” (Too bad I didn’t have a camera.)
Hi Malu,
Thank you for the great service! Your people are excellent!
Service is always attentive, the restaurants always feel great and the food is consistently superb!
If we weren’t such lazy bums we’d eat in your restos more often but sometimes too tamad to pass the traffic…see you there soon!
thanks for the treat manong noey!
