Congratulations to Tisha for another great publication! After her successful Maid Manual November 26, 2008
I wish she made this 14 years ago when I had to hire my first yaya. Though I was lucky I had a very good yaya who took care of my two boys.
We all know how hard it is to find a good one and we are lucky if we are blessed with someone who will love and care for our kids the way we do.
Yaya Daday, Yaya of Tisha for 9 years
And is obviously loved by Tisha’s four boys! 🙂
The book comes with these templates which you can post for yaya! WOW!

The most important thing in getting a yaya is for all family members to understand that the yaya is not a slave nor a lower class of society. Treat the helper as humane as possible (not necessarily as a family member) and she will stay long with the family. Training of a maid needs time and the employer must be willing to train or retrain the maid to her familys requirements.
i wish this was available here in the states!
I’m a first-time mom to a 10-month old baby boy. My first yaya is moving back home to the province after being with us for almost 3 years (she was our all-around helper and when I gave birth, I asked her to be my son’s yaya) after her husband passed away.
Would you have any trusted agencies you can recommend where I can get a yaya?
Thanks!
