Marlboro Classics Men’s & Women’s Spring Summer 2011

By | Fashion, What's New at Rustan's | No Comments

The MCS Marlboro Classics collection for SS 2011 is a 360° journey into the iconic clothing of the American Dream, where all items make the most of modern material research and an exquisitely Italian feel for design. To the traditional values of quality, authenticity and ease, MCS adds a fashion twist that’s also a rediscovery of the brand’s own genetic code: as in the rugged spirit of the West applied to urban jackets, cabans, shirts. It’s a more sophisticated approach to the universe of casuals through new takes on favorite denim washes and treatments, the multiplication of prints for shirts and Ts, a fresh use of lighter weight fabrics.

From country to biker styles, from surf to work wear, all the way to the line’s more urban themes, now the slant is on experimentation, on totally today detailing, material research, colors, washes and fits.

The check fabrics defining shirts take on candy nuances, delicate embroideries, different fits to connect with various worlds.

Denims come in a wider range of fits, offer a greater and stronger selection of treatments, all while developing the fabric’s organic soul. The green spirit emerges also in the knits, namely in the recycled cottons in natural hues flanking the brighter colors.

The traditional John Wayne jacket introduces a re-edition featuring rubberized cotton.

Leather, treated as if a fabric identifies bombers and biker jackets having a natural vintage flair thanks to contrast plating and waxing.

The army look as well gets a detailing update, there in the jersey linings on safari jackets and blousons, in the tiny floral camouflage prints, in the eco treatments.

Dazzling surf colors are diluted by bleach washes for the shirts with floral decors. A new cotton/linen denim creates the latest in lightness for the chinos.

Urban themes meet the brand’s authentic core: blazers go slouch-chic thanks to destructuring, distressing, and coloring that heighten the edgy used and textured appeal. Stripe patchworks tone down the classic men’s shirt.

The same spirit comes through in the accessories: nabuck desert boots and derby lace-ups in powdery hues, multicolor faux-leather thong sandals, plus metal hook distressed leather boots for the city. Meanwhile, what distinguish the generally extralarge sport bags are the canvas/calf and denim/leather material mixes.

Visit to the Huggery

By | Celebrations | 6 Comments

We went to Asian Hospital to visit Santino.  Heart2Heart likes the name of the nursery, they call it the HUGGERY 🙂

img_0674.JPG

So adorable, Santino!!! WELCOME TO THE WORLD CUTIE PIE!!!

img_0667.JPG

The happy parents – Paolo and Trina.  I heard from Tito Raffy that Pao can’t keep his eyes off Santino, he forgets to eat! And Trina recovered so well, she does not even look like she had a baby…. Her tummy was all baby! 🙂

img_0677.jpg

We even have giveaways for visiting 🙂

img_0675.JPG

Heart2Heart has a funny BABY story to tell.  Two days ago, Bulgin, a friend of ours was telling us about his technique for having a baby!  People have been pressuring James and I to have another baby so Bulgin told us about his technique.   He swears by it and he said 7 of his friends who he told it to already got pregnant!!!  I am mentioning it here for those who are having a hard time having a baby….I believe they are safe and there will be no harm in trying it

Bulgin said, the MALE has to do just two simple things:

 go cycling/biking

cyclingimage.jpeg

 plus_sign.jpg

and take Pharmaton everyday for one month, Pharmaton is just a multivitamin so I don’t think it will be harmful to take it

pharmatoncaps100.jpg

I told Bulgin that I would be featuring his technique!!

Then to continue the story – This afternoon, I was talking to the new daddy, Paolo, and I mentioned to him about what Bulgin told me…..and Paolo told me that he also took Pharmaton which was recommended to him by his father in law!!!!  But Paolo told me that he did not have to bike 🙂 but he took Pharmaton with Rogin E which is also another multivitamin.  So he took 1 Pharmaton and 1 Rogin E a day.  Trina told me she also took the two vitamins but took them alternating each day.  And after a month, it worked!!!

I have been reading the captions for Pharmaton and Rogin E and it always mentions de stressing – and I know that stress is one of the reasons for not being able to get pregnant….hmmmmm….

roche-rogin-e-tamperproof-150ml.JPGplus_sign.jpgpharmatoncaps100.jpg

Paolo’s technique seems easier since you don’t have to bike! haha!!  So you can try any of the options!

Please pass this on to your friends who you know are close to giving up, who knows, it might just work!!
