Mamma’s Table the Second Time Around

One of the reasons to go to Baguio is to have a meal at Vicky’s table.

This was the first thing we did when we arrived!  It’s a three hour relaxing meal

 The kids also enjoy coming over to have Vicky’s meal.  I am so happy my two boys appreciate these type of meals

    I met Vicky in the wedding of Louie Barcelon Locsin’s daughter, Rica and shortly after that event, I went up to Baguio which was abuzz with this lady who cooked for people in her own house. I never thought that she was the same Vicky who I had just met at Rica Barcelon’s wedding! Now, I am very curious to sample her food. I am going up to Baguio before this month ends, would you please let me know how much does she charge and what is the minimum number of people she’d allow to dine at her place? Thanks. And thank you for sharing your experiences through your wonderful blog. I am absolutely amazed at your creativity and energy!

    Hi! The charge depends on what the menu is I guess. The first time we were charged P 1,100 per person plus service charge then this time it was P 1,350.00 plus service charge. It is best you contact Vicky and ask her especially regarding minimum number of persons. She will also give you directions to her place. Her contact details are on the feature, see above please.

    Thanks for the reply.. I guess, the more people there are, the lower the per-head cost is.. but for what looks like the kind of dishes she serves and the quality of the ingredients, the price quotes seem very reasonable.. plus you’re amongst just people you’re comfortable with and within what’s apparently a beautiful, private setting.. seems like its all worth it! I will call up Vicky once I get to Baguio. Thanks very much!

    From Vicky:
    To clarify, the initial charge when I began cooking a year and a half ago was P 1,125.00 per person, increased to P 1,250 in November 2010. When summer came, due to increased cost of everything, I raised it to P 1,350.00 per person for the whole experience. I expect it to remain at that price until the Christmas holidays when costs will go up again
