After dinner, Newts served us green juice!! Eversince that evening, I started drinking green juice every morning before I start the day. I have been thinking of what healthy food I can eat after my acid reflux attack and this is one of them

Newts introduced us again to something called the magic berry. You bite into the berry and cleanse your palette with it then spit it out and when you drink the green juice it will be sweet instead of bitter and sour!! It was really magic!! He gave me and Trina the rest of these to bring home!
And he even gave us the plant of the magic berry that he grows in his greenhouse
And this is how my grocery cart looks like now every week when I buy the ingredients for my green juice!!
I am copying the Cohen dieters and I take Jacob crackers for snacks. It’s always out of stock because people hoard these 🙂 So I hoarded some too 🙂
More healthy food in the cart

Ric’s, where’s your green apples and coconut water for your green juice in the cart?
Recipe for the 5-green juice: (Chinese concoction)
In a juicer, add:
1 green apple
1 or 2 pcs celery
1/2 or 1/4 pc of ampalaya (bitter gourd)
1/2 of a cucumber
1 green bell pepper (seeds taken out)
Add about 1/5 of a cup of coconut water at the end to neutralize the bitterness. (you can buy fresh buko water and freeze it in an ice tray to store it longer)
This recipe will make a good tall glass which I have but you can split it and share it if it is too much or just cut the recipe in half.
This is a good, healthy, and complete power breakfast.
1 drink will approximately cost you P60.00-80.00 per glass.
The magic fruit is not necessary because the coconut water can neutralize the bitterness.
This little berry is famous in japan as they have made dessert shops that center on this berry while their desserts contain no added sugars. Good for diabetics.
Unfortunately, the plant is quite hard to find but sometimes they pop up at plant shows around manila seedling and other garden events. If your really interested, let Rica know, because I might have some more at home.
Enjoy!!!
Hi Newton,
Thank you so much for the info. you are right the plant is quite hard to find because went to manila seedling last saturday looking for the plants and they said not available and rarely that they have stocks of this kind of plants.. Thank you for the offer. i really like the plants for my backyard garden.
Happy New Year!
