 At Starbucks, Caramel Macchiato is a unique coffee experience because of how it is prepared. Macchiato is an Italian word which means ‘marked’. Starbucks Caramel Macchiato has a strong espresso charisma with layers of exciting flavors within the beverage.

How does Starbucks prepare a Caramel Macchiato? Syrup is added to the cup first, followed by lavishing steamed milk and foam. A fresh shot of espresso is then poured on top to ‘mark’ the foam. Finally, the beverage is topped with a cross-hatch of caramel drizzle.
