A few weeks ago, Rachelle served a cheese platter which was really really delicious.

I was very surprised to find out that it was locally made in a Davao farm. I normally only hear of local cheeses such as quesong puti or mozzarella being made here in our country but something similar to blue cheese and camembert? WOW!! So i asked Rachelle to share her source with me. Hopefully one day I can visit the farm and see where and how it is actually made.
Heart2Heart loves cheese! especially if it is proudly Filipino made! 🙂
Rachelle served us Chevre, Blue Peppato and Feta ( from left to right )
This is Olive Puentespina, the cheesemaker, with one of her goats.
And her cheeses…YUMMY!!
Blue goat cheese and fresh goat cheese ( quesong puti style ). The berries on the right are “Bignay” and are grown in the farm
Bottled Bignay also grown in the farm

Thank you, Rics for appreciating our very own. 🙂
Hello Rica, am a big fan of your posts! Happy Holidays too!
I have beein to Malagos farm. While we were going around the compound savoring the beauty of their widely assorted flowers, playground and cottages (it is a spacious one), we came across a small restaurant and I saw white cheese being served to one of its customers. I wondered at that time, where they got their white cheese because I did not see any herd of cows nor goat around……Gee, that is a variety of cheese products they have there
Thanks Adrian! Share Heart2Heart with your friends and family 🙂 the more the merrier. Merry Christmas and God bless!
