Togo Shrine Antique Flea Market

The main reason we were in the Harajuku area was because we wanted to see the flea market by the Togo Shrine

Things are not cheap in the market…like this helmet which I spotted and knew my Dad would like…It was going for around 60,000 yen! The black one was 47,000 yen!

Only my Mom bought something, a pair of japanese wooden dolls for 300 yen! I wish I had a photo. The rest of us did not buy anything, we just looked 🙂

Dude in the fourth photo, selling framed artworks looked like Ryuichi Sakamoto.
Thanks for this. I’ve always wanted to go to this place

I saw a sign up today (1st Nov 2009) which said that after the December market, there would be no markets here more after 30 years of trading. What a shame.
