Benjo told us to go here last November but we did not have time.  But this trip, we made sure we went.  Thanks also to Gil and Christine for telling us about it.  We love it!!

For those who have not been here yet, be careful not to miss it, it is inside the street and not on the beach front strip

The owner, Lee, was there with her two dogs.  Lee is half Italian and half American

I love that the place is so native!! So Filipino!

I like the kitchen, it is just a simple set up and it looks just like a home kitchen

Oh my gosh! oh my gosh!! Freshly baked calamansi muffins just came out of the oven when we arrived!!! WOW!! This is what they are famous for.  You can also take home in boxes of 6, 9 and 12.  We did not get anymore because we were overweight already 🙂  besides, it is best to eat it there and have the whole experience!

Love the menu!!

We asked for their best seller breakfast and the girl said the Jacks Omelette – but since we found 3 eggs too much even to share, we got the Jack A Lean.  LOVED IT!!!!!! We never had an omelette with pesto.  Make sure to try it with PESTO!  I thought I would not like it since I am not a big fan of tuna, but this omelette was really good!

It went so well with that DELICIOUS TOAST on the side spread with mango jam!! YUMMY!!!

Look at the filling oozing out of the omelette!!

Real Coffee

and of course we had to have the calamansi muffin

This is how we ate it- we rip the outer shell of the muffin because it is toasted and crunchy!  🙂

Definitely we will be back to try the others!

As a graduation gift to my eldest child (son), I will bring him (together with his siblings, of course, can’t leave them, hehe…) to Boracay this May 2010 and we will surely eat at Real Coffee. This place is so cozy and nice… the food so yummy, that I decided to book at Jason’s place which is just BESIDE REAL COFFEE!!!! 🙂

Hi: This is Lee from Boracay, owner of Real Coffee. Thank you so much for all of your nice comments about my coffee shop. This is the first time I have seen it and I was so pleased. I am in Lake Tahoe with one of my school mates. It is my yearly vacation to the states. I really appreciated the pictures of my dogs as my white dog, Luke passed away in April, 2010.

Hi Lee!! I am so happy you saw my feature. I did not know how to email you about it. So sad to hear about Luke. Hope to see you again one of these days when we go back to Boracay.

i love Real Coffee’s calamansi muffin! it’s the best!! 🙂

  • Liza says:

I agree, Real Coffee’s calamansi muffin is truly the best muffin. I always have the brownie which my friend brings home for me every time he visits Boracay. It was my first time to have the calamansi muffin when we visited just last weekend and it’s really amazing. The flavor and the texture is just perfect. It’s just unfortunate that we weren’t able to try their breakfast because it was already late in the afternoon and had to be back the next morning. But will definitely be the priority destination on our next visit.

  • Thanks for visiting Real Coffee & Tea Cafe. 🙂
