We chose to stay at the Villas which is accessible from the main clubhouse where you check in. Suddenly when we arrived, I just wanted to stay in the villa 🙂
I looked at the sheet of paper they gave me and the words MASSAGE SERVICE, particularly ROOM SERVICE 🙂 was the only thing that appealed to me at that moment 🙂
The Villa del Rey has its own private pool..and when we were there – there was hardly anyone in the pool- so you can imagine having the pool all to yourself!
Reminds me a bit of a Shangri-la resort…
You have your own gate/entrance to your villa
Which leads to a little patio and garden
The room
There is a side door which leads you to your own jaccuzi…..
They have a room service menu but apparently they get the food all the way from the Mansion Suites, so when it arrives it comes in styro take away bags.
We ended up eating out in the patio but did not have the proper dining amenities. I suggest that you just go out to the waterpark or go to the Mansion Suites to eat.
Also, in the room, there is a window high above the room which does not have a curtain – it brings in natural light. For those who like to sleep in the dark, make sure you bring your silk Spa Sister sleep masks ( Spa Sister Silk Sleep Mask June 8, 2009 ) 🙂
