This is the condo of a future ” Steven Spielberg.”  She does not want to be known so this is anonymous, but one day you will know who she is when she comes out with her movies and then  I can say that I was once in her home 🙂 Â

After eating in all the mexican fastfood places, we were happy to dine in SUBWAY and QUIZNOS for a change.  We had it for breakfast, snack and lunch 🙂  It is easy, quick and YUMMY! Â
For me, what sets the sandwich places apart is the BREAD. Â It is very important to have good bread and I love it in subway that they have plenty choices!! I wish we had these type of breads here in Manila. My favorite is the Italian Herbs and CheeseÂ
YUMMY CHEESE!!! This is the most difficult step because Heart2Heart likes all cheeses!!  🙂Â
SAUCES!!! YUMMY!! Â Also so hard to chooseÂ
We were not familiar with Quiznos because we are more familiar with Subway, but when we tried Quiznos, it was so good!!
The difference in Quiznos is their oven that toasts the sandwich. Â I like mine toasted so the cheese melts insideÂ

My sister told me to visit the Grove for shopping as it is relatively new and her daughter said that this is the place where all the stars go.  It reminded me of Disneyland 🙂 but everything is shopping and dining
Their food court type of eating is outdoor and is called Farmer’s Market. Â We were there late already so most of the stalls were either closed, closing already or running out of supply. Â But it looked really good and interesting. Â Â
What was interesting in the mall was their valet parking… RED CARPET and with a beautiful lounging area while you wait for your car 🙂 and of course in LA, you will see all the beautiful and expensive cars all over!

Tito Joey took us to this cookie place!!!!  The lines are always long and people come from all over to have cookies from  Diddy Riese!!Â
35 cents for a cookie? FOR A DELICIOUS COOKIE!!! Â No wonder people are lining up to get them!
Bakers baking cookies all day longÂ
Cookie sandwich – they use Dreyer’s brand of ice cream
Heart2Heart loves WHITE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES!!!! YUMMY!!!! It was so fresh and sooo good!!!! Â

We had lunch in this very nice patisserie in an area sort of like Soho with nice quaint and one of a kind shops.  Heart2Heart loves these kinds of places 🙂 It reminded me a bit of Bon Apetit Patisserie in Rustan’s

Another beautiful residential area, Venice Beach.  Smaller homes ( expensive for sure ) but more modern and more “artsy” 🙂Â
A very lively and very beautiful area with many colorful sightsÂ
In LA, everyday is a sunny day…so everyday is BEACH DAY!! 🙂  Everyone is enjoying the SUN!Â
Over the weekend and taking a break from work, Tito Joey brought us to Los Angeles City! He drove us around and showed us the city.  Everywhere in Southern California is quite far from each other that you really need a car to get around especially in the heat… though it is not humid.  We went through the different residential areas and wow, we were amazed at all the huge and beautiful homes!!  And they are one after the other.  They all have beautiful landscaping and some even have sculptures in their front lawn…and not to mention the beautiful and expensive cars parked  in these houses! WOW!!
I was able to take some photos from a moving car…I wish i could have taken more…
