Mexican Fast Food in Southern California

By | Foodie, Travel | 2 Comments

We love love Mexican fast food 🙂 More of James…but I like it too. Being in Southern California- there is a wide variety to choose from, you will go crazy.  But just like anything else, you can only have enough…after awhile you cannot have too much of the same thing

Of course Taco Bell is James’ favorite

And Del Taco seems to be  another favorite

The Taco factory was not really our type but we were just curious so we tried it

There was a green burrito right beside our hotel, so it was convenient and James seemed to like it.   It’s nice also because it is together with a Carl’s Jr. so you have a choice of either  mexican or burgers

By | Foodie, Great Ideas, Travel | 2 Comments

Nearby our hotel is a small arcade with a few eating places like Starbucks, Subway and they had this very interesting place called Super Suppers.  It is a food place offering food to go or Grab N’ Go food for people who have no time to cook or are in a hurry.  Just choose from the wide variety of prepared foods in the freezer…..

Breakfast At Fairfield Inn, Orange County

By | Foodie, Travel | 2 Comments

We stayed at The Fairfield Inn by Marriott.  I liked it because it was very cozy, not a busy hotel.  Our room came with breakfast which I liked since it was simple and had quite a variety.  Everything is “Do It Yourself” 🙂

There is news on TV while having breakfast

Various reading materials

This is the breakfast spread we had every morning:-)  It is like a home kitchen.  It was the same everyday but there was a lot to choose from

dsc_8412.JPGdsc_8399.JPG

This was actually good and all you had to do was put it in the microwave 🙂

dsc_8400.JPGdsc_8401.jpgdsc_8403.jpg

Mini Waffles which you can just make yourself as well.  The Americans think of everything 🙂

5 Feet, Laguna Beach

By | Foodie, Travel | One Comment

A month ago, we went to OC on a business trip.  Thanks to Tito Joey for picking us up in the airport.  He immediately toured us and took us near our area and drove us around Laguna Beach and had dinner there.  Immediately we had a good impression of the place.  Laguna Beach is beautiful!!!!!!!! I wish I had more photos.  I was at the back seat so it was a bit difficult to take photos when riding the car, plus my SLR camera was still in our luggage.

p1110536.JPG

It is a small quaint area with nice small shops and restaurants with of course a beautiful beach2008lb.jpg

Tito Joey took us to 5′ Restaurant.  He said it was called that because the chef and owner, Michael Kang, is five feet 🙂

 ap1110562.jpg

It was Chinese fusion and we enjoyed it!!
