About five years ago, we stayed in this boutique hotel in Florence which is owned by the Ferragamos. It was a time when boutique hotels were just starting to crop up and we were of course so thrilled at the concept. I wish I had taken more and better photos, but here is a compilation from those who took photos
This is not a living room 🙂 this is the hotel’s elevator 🙂
Everyone wanted a photo with it…….
or in it 🙂

Marks & Spencer is proud to sell good food with nothing to hide
Since 1 April 2008, there have been absolutely no artificial colours or flavourings in any of Marks & Spencer’s food. The project to remove them took three years.
Marks & Spencer’s technical team faced some real challenges, particularly when removing artificial colours, but fruit and vegetable extracts were found to be effective substitutes. The new initiative covers all additives particularly associated with concerns about food intolerance and children’s diets, including artificial colours such as Ponceau 4R (E124), Sunset Yellow (E110), Carmosine (E122) and Quinoline Yellow (E104). Several studies have shown that many of these artificial additives can cause disruptive behaviour in young children, so by using only natural colours across their children’s food, including cakes and sweets, they’re giving their customers peace of mind as well as great flavour.
Removing all artificial colours and flavourings is another groundbreaking move from a retailer with industry-leading standards. Marks & Spencer hasn’t used hydrogenated fats in its food, for example, since March 2006. In October 2005, they removed all artificial flavourings, artificial colours and hydrogenated fats from all their chilled ready meals and no MSG. Ready meals are now available in the freezer cabinets of Shangri-La Plaza Mall, Glorietta 4, Greenbelt 5, Alabang Town Center and Rustan’s Fresh Power Plant Mall. The most difficult is choosing!
All Marks & Spencer’s food is clearly labeled so that customers can see exactly what’s in it – or, in the case of artificial colours and flavourings, what’s missing. It’s all part of their commitment to selling good food with nothing to hide.
Marks & Spencer is exclusively distributed by Rustan Marketing Specialists, Inc. and is available at Greenbelt 5, Glorietta 4, Shangri-La mall, Gateway, Alabang Town Center, Trinoma, Megamall, Mall of Asia, SM Pampanga, Marquee Mall, Ayala Cebu, Robinson’s Place Malate, and SM North Edsa
