Boss Spring Summer 2010

 BOSS Green

BOSS Green stands for trendy sportswear and fashionably functional golf apparel. The menswear line offers a modern look for golf enthusiasts and those who enjoy a relaxed lifestyle off the course. The focus is on innovative design, with intelligent features providing the added value. In the “Pro Line” – the segment devoted exclusively to technical golfwear – a broad range of performance materials comes into play. This capsule line is also worn by all of the professional golfers outfitted by BOSS Green, including the Swede Henrik Stenson.

The BOSS Green Spring/Summer collection for 2010 was inspired by the jet set of the early 1960s, an era shaped by style icons such as Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. A panama hat that works both on and off the greens recalls the celebrated “Rat Pack.”

The dolce vita of the Riviera in the ‘sixties is mirrored in evocative colors to introduce a refreshing, bright mood. Navy blue and turquoise co-star with an intense yellow and red. This story is supported by pastels, including a delicate pink that is paired with gray and white.

Classic patterns including checks, stripes and argyles are reinterpreted and tailored to fit the typical BOSS Green look. For example, a strong block check runs through the collection’s various color groups.

This season is also premiering a denim line featuring three different washings and an ultra-light version for the heat of high summer. The range of cuts underscores the laidback, casual BOSS Green style.

Sporty cropped jackets and blousons in summery fabrics are combined with tees sporting cool graphics. The highlight in the performance apparel: fully taped seams that keep golf jackets water- and windproof.

The signature mix of lifestyle ease and golfing passion that defines the BOSS Green look extends through to the shoes and accessories. Specialist golf shoes and bags are complemented by stylish sneakers, boat shoes and weekender bags that round out the leisure look.

BOSS Black Menswear Spring Summer 2010

L.A. STORY

Intriguingly different details and clean cuts form the focus of the BOSS Black Men’s Collection for summer 2010. Inspired by the Los Angeles lifestyle, the collection tells an “L.A. Story” that comfortably fuses urban chic with the relaxed vibe of the West Coast. BOSS Black Menswear presents a cosmopolitan face featuring light yet masculine outfits.

In line with L.A.’s contemporary architecture, slender silhouettes dominate. The emphasis is on a combination of elegantly formal styles and informal casual wear pieces. The classic jacket is worn with laid-back chinos, creating a surprisingly fresh and modern look.

The centerpiece of the BOSS Black collection is once again the suit, with shape and style lending it a distinctive fashion statement. Close-cut double-breasted blazers show narrow lapels and pair with slim trousers. The key look is a lightweight cotton/linen model in summery, sandy beige. Topped with a casual scarf, this suit is ideal for a midsummer night’s party in Hollywood Hills. In the outerwear, double-breasted jackets and cottony-soft parkas round out the look of easygoing elegance.

The materials are lightweight and luxurious. Airy linen and cotton blends define the suits and contrast with blousons in ultra-fine lambskin leather. The season’s palette is muted: sand and brown tones, shades of gray, and an array of blues play the starring role. Clean white and light blue add fresh summer accents.

A wide range of accessories completes the BOSS Black look for Spring/Summer 2010. Lace-ups and a companion workbag in sumptuous calf leather both come in navy blue – a perfect fit for the collection’s summer styles.
