Nobu Los Angeles

By | Foodie, Travel | 3 Comments

Ate in Nobu and loved it!  After eating so many dishes, we noticed that Japanese food seems to be light and finding ourselves never feeling full and regretful.  Heart2Heart likes the portions and that it is never too overwhelming. Love love Japanese food!

That evening, P Diddy ( Sean John ) was also dining at the restaurant and although I wanted to take his photo, Quito said we will look “touristy” if we asked for a photo.  But then again, we are tourists in LA!  😉

Koji

By | Arts and Culture, Travel, Yummy! | No Comments

Heart2Heart loves the museum row of LA!  Especially this part!  I saw it while we were driving and had the opportunity to stop by

img_1398.JPGimg_1401.JPGimg_1420.JPG

We followed this food truck named, KOJI!  Koji was parked that day by the Museum and we went to have their fusion Mexican-Korean burritos! I heard that people follow them on twitter so they know where the Koji truck will be parked on any given day, apparently they have a following

What an interesting menu!

img_1403.jpgimg_1410.jpgimg_1419.jpg

We ordered and sat by the ledge facing the lamp posts 🙂

Here Comes the Sun with Michael Kors Spring Summer 2011

By | SSI Group Inc | No Comments

Usher in a sunshine state of mind with the Spring Summer 2011 collection from the American designer Michael Kors.

This season, Kors once again successfully fuses his understatedly elegant and classic jet-set style with comfort and cool effortlessness in a Spring Summer 11 collection that is best dubbed “naturaluxe.”

Easy silhouettes of pajamas, robes, sarongs, tees, and sweats in a natural palette of hemp, white, pebble, sky, cloud, and midnight bring the sexy ease of beach life to the city and give the collection that warm, relaxed attitude. The neutral story is refreshed by bold strokes of zinnia pink, grass green, and daffodil yellow straight from the Kors garden, making for a collection that is collected but upbeat, polished yet fun.

Animal prints round out the assortment, this season in luxe tiger, perfect for every sophisticate with a wild side. Warm natural tones of peanut and walnut leather anchor the look and finish the mood, properly assembling a look that is quintessentially Michael Kors.

Get ready to greet the sun with chic, cool, and classy pieces from Michael Kors Spring Summer 2011.

Tangerine Hotel

By | Accomodations, Travel | No Comments

We had to move to Burbank, so I had to research for a place to stay and discovered Tangerine in Trip Advisor.  I thought it was very okay and very decent for the price and for some reason, I like experiencing this type of accomodation in the States

We had a very nice dinner at Chaya which apparently is a restaurant owned by the Tsunoda family from Japan.  They are the Starbucks partners in Japan where they have almost 900 Starbucks stores!!!
