In between games, I enjoy hanging out with the other parents …telling stories, learning more about them….
The kids sticking it out and eagerly awaiting every game they will play! And they will fight till the end!
They won second place!!! Congratulations!!

Wildly energetic, Prada’s Miuccia Spring Summer 2011 Collection presents a refreshing point of view for this season as it unleashes its Latin American spirit.
Focused on loud, sultry colors, this sophisticated cool collection is unlike any of its other previous collections. Full of vibrant and vivid colors, retro looks, and tropical prints like bananas, the styles and designs are a match for any playful personality. This season, it is all about fun for Prada!
Movie actress and rising star Diane Kruger makes a bold and striking entrance in Prada’s Spring Summer 2011 collection at the 61st Berlin International Film Festival.
The ever well dressed
Prada fills the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards as many presenters and nominees dress only in the Italian brand’s most elegant for this glamorous event. The Golden Globe Nominee’s beautiful leading lady, Nicole Kidman looked flawless as she radiates in a Prada cream one-shoulder gown with all over sequin embroidery.
For the handsome gentlemen in style at the Golden Globe, they walked the red carpet with debonair style and flair in Prada’s classic and perfectly tailored suits. Nominated for his performance in “Carlos,” Edgar Ramirez arrived for this honor in a Prada black smoking lana mohair two-button tuxedo with duchesse peak lapel over white smoking popeline pleated bib shirt, and with black silk faille bowtie, while finished off with a pair black patent leather lace up shoes. Simple and clean, this eligible bachelor was sophisticated for his deserving nomination.
For a best-dressed appearance on stage and on television, the very handsome and talented Joseph Gordon-Levitt not only presented his film, “Inception” to be nominated for Best Motion Picture but more importantly proved that he has an impeccable taste in fashion as he dressed himself in a Prada navy smoking tela two-button notch lapel tuxedo, with a white stretch popeline shirt, and navy satin logo tie, and paired with black cal leather lace-up shoes.
On the other hand, presenter and brilliant actor Robert Downey Jr. looks once again absolutely amazing and was red carpet worthy as he wore a charcoal grey smoking seta two-button notch collar tuxedo matched with a white smoking popeline shirt and red duchesse satin long tie with matching pocket square and black perforated spazzalota shoes, all from Prada.
Be stylish like the celebrities and move to the Latin American vibes with Prada Spring Summer 2011 Collection!
In the Philippines, Prada is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists, Inc. (SSI) and is available at Greenbelt 4, Ayala Center, Makati.

Congratulations to another Filipina who does great things and makes us proud! You are amazing Daphne for putting this all together and UNICEF is a lucky benefaciary! Good luck and I am sure you will sell everything!!
“I know a lot of people recognize UNICEF’s valuable work in children’s rights, but few realize that UNICEF reliesentirely on voluntary donations to support its work on the ground. I’ve helped them educate moms all over the country on maternal health, mortality and breastfeeding. This time, I want to help UNICEF raise awareness and funds for all their other goals: providing children with health care, access to safe water and sanitation, education, and protection from violence, abuse and exploitation,” said UNICEF Special Advocate for ChildrenDaphne Oseña Paez.
For Daphne, “the response from artists has been very encouraging, to say the least. It feels incredible to be able to work with such prominent artists for a worthwhile cause. I’m a great fan of their work, but now I’m in even greater awe of their kindness and generosity. They put a lot of love and devote a lot of time into everything they create, so I know that beyond the beautiful art piece, the artists are really sharing a part of themselves with UNICEF.“
UNICEF Philippines is launching its first fundraising online auction entitled Auction for Action: A UNICEF Fundraising Online Auction to benefit children’s programs in the Philippines and worldwide

Materials that have the value added of looking already “lived-in”. The naturalness of leather, with a special “distressed” effect, construction details, sumptuously crafted finishes. The bond between those who make and those who wear, over time, the new Salvatore Ferragamo accessories.
Shoes
A new study of forms and proportions for full and rounded volumes. A decidedly British world, modulated by all-Italian craftsmanship. The “tramezza”, men’s shoes par excellence, features astonishing two-tone design and micro-perforation, for elegance a la Great Gasby. Splendid. crocodile moccasins in a super-luxury version. Unexpected chromatic combinations in the lace-ups and two-tone sailing shoes. Elegant lace-ups that seem already to have had a life of their own, aged on the last and with exclusive finishes. Ultra-soft and super-lightweight footwear made of high-comfort unlined leather. Thanks to anatomical studies and special technical solutions and patents, Ferragamo footwear has a “memory” that personalizes fit. These shoes are the alter-ego of the Ferragamo ballerina in terms of comfort reinvented for men.
Lace-ups and moccasins in nabuk and full-grain calf, with leather island soles and padded insoles. A new super-cool 4 hole derby model with contrasting laces and a double expanded rubber sole, for a relaxed informal look. In the Collection’s new colours: white, blue, camel, brown, and red. Sneakers with pleating motifs add new richness to the men’s sportswear. Simple forms and calf skin printed with linear patterns to create a simply sophisticated casual look.
Bags
Soft and sophisticated in volumes and destructured design. Warm toned leathers, aged with special treatments, such as calf, mezzo buffalo, natural cowhide tanned ostrich, become ultra-strong bags decorated with the new “Vara” motif and an exclusive hot-stamped logo: Salvatore Ferragamo Florence since 1928. Bags are constructed in natural leather and then dyed to achieve extraordinary shading effects, surfaces unevenly dyed around the stitching and with an exquisitely “vintage” hand. The briefcases have intelligent insides, with pockets and PC, CD and phone compartments, even a slot for a shoe cleaning kit. Available in black, blue, and leather color. The belts have buckles featuring a new “Vara” motif restyled for men. Belts made of elasticized fabrics, with a regimental flavor, and belts with splendid hand plaiting. Small twine stitching graces both the large and small leather goods.
Silk
Recognizable by the sumptuousness of the materials, the exceptional quality of the printing, the perfection of the patterns and the beautifully clear cut outlines. An extremely generous colour palette.
Regimental ties with elegant classic flavoured two-tone designs or new formats with contrasting prints on the front and rear aprons. Accessories become iconic objects to give oneself or others: gifts, key-holders, tie clips, money clips, classic or personalized sports bracelets. And the cufflinks, ultimate expression of male elegance, feature some incredible jewelry work: coloured pastes on metal base, enamels, engravings, hard stones. All the art of luxury signatured by Salvatore Ferragamo.
