This is for my friend Michelle who is going to Macau soon.  This is what I have gathered in the short time I was in Macau. My kids are older kids already so I tried to gather what I saw and not really experienced them myself. So I may have missed others.

I recommend Macau for a short vacation with the kids because the city is so near Manila, it is beautiful especially with the Portuguese influence, it is very clean,  and it is so fun and entertaining!  Not only for kids but for people like me who don’t gamble 🙂  It was summer for the Chinese so there were many kids at the time we were there

I heard that the Venetian Hotel is kid friendly and they have big rooms for families.  The Venetian is also very central and that is where all the action and entertainment is.  Click below for more information and to see the different kinds of rooms

1.)  Go Hotel Hopping and see the elaborate displays in the lobbies and the shows.

Don’t worry about kids getting lost in casinos.  They are very very strict and will not let any kid go to the casino.  They were so strict that my Dad almost fought with the security!  haha!!  It was raining and we had not where to pass to get to the Lobby unless we got wet in the rain with the strong rain.  And we were rushing to leave for the airport after lunch.  We had to call Ralph to help us and he just gave in because he knew my Dad was already so so mad!

2.)  Fish Spa

I have not seen The House of Dancing Water but looks like something you should not miss.  Not sure if it is for kids

4.)   Kids Play Zone at the Venetian – I saw this while walking in the Venetian.  You can probably leave the kids here while the parents want some time for themselves 🙂

Hi Rica! Great post — Heard that the House of Dancing Water is quite the spectacle — Asia’s answer to Cirque du Soleil’s O in Las Vegas. Hope you’re doing well!

    Hi Rica.

Just a not about the Venetian and kids…

While it is generally kid friendly, you have to walk through the casino to get to the rooms from the main entrance, and kids are not allowed into the casino. It’s a long detour from the main entrance. If you come in from the back entrance, it’s not a big deal as there is an enclosed passage to the elevators. We didn’t go with our kids, but definitely made a note of it for the future.

As to House of Dancing Water, I highly recommend it, although kids below a certain age probably should not watch it, al there is a lot of “leather and lace”, if you know what I mean. But for adults, I would definitely watch it again.

Hi Arlu! THANKS!! Yes heard it was like “O”. I wish we saw it.
Hi Tonio, thank you very much for the tip. I noticed that in Macau they are really really very strict about kids in the Casino. My Dad was already fighting the security since there was an instance that we had to pass the casino because it was raining and storming outside. They actually told us to take the taxi to get to the main entrance. But thanks for the tip about the Venetian. I have not stayed there nor seen the hotel but just heard about it. And about the show, that was my worry too for smaller kids. So thanks again for the tip 🙂
