This time we we visited Hotchkiss
I noticed that these schools are “provincial” in a way that they are very secluded with not much distraction around the area which gives the kids an environment that is conducive to studying
Football field
Golf Course
It was a few days before revisit days
What a nice feeling to be in an old establishment with much history and experience
We arrived just in time for lunch so we just helped ourselves. We were happy to observe the students and how they interact during meals/ breaks
Harkness table
Hallway to classrooms
Chapel
Hallways to history and English classrooms – the floors are divided by subjects
Beautiful board room
A lot of artwork by the students around the building
Recording studio and radio station booth!
Art classes!
They have a specialized classroom for different kinds of art classes!!!
With beautiful scenic views!!!

I went to Hotchkiss back in the 90’s. Glad to see it still looks pretty much the same. The school has it’s own golf course and a lake where we used to sail if the weather allowed.
