My Mom and I went to the Baguio market – this is like a ritual everytime we are in Baguio. It’s amazing how I am always here but everytime I visit, I discover a new place there. This time she took me to the Longganisa place. WOW!!!! It’s a sight to see but I do not know if I would really buy anything from here since I do not know who they are, where they make it and what it is made of 🙁
The names sound so yummy!!!
This vendor claimed they were the ones supplying the famous Baguio Country Club longganisa – so mom bought some and we tried it and it did not taste good 🙁 The smell was really bad while cooking which is why I would refrain from buying in this section

Sayang, Rica, they look so yummy.
Hi Rica, I know the part of the Market where BCC gets their longganiza. They don’t have hanging longganiza in their stall. 2 stalls across each other owned by relatives. Tuvieras, I believe is the name of the stall. I am going up this Sunday so I will get the exact stall number and name and let you know.
Yes Rica. It is TUVERAS and their longanizas are packed in plastic bags (usually white) all tied up in one or two kg packages. You have to go up to where they sell meat (2nd floor – meat section). Good luck!
Thanks Ginger!! and Thanks Maryrose!!! We tried to buy in the Country CLub but they had no stock
