Last October 21 was the culminating event of our Silver Jubilee. It was a product of three years – all of us working together and bonding. I witnessed what the batch went through and it’s amazing how united and how each and everyone contributed to make this a successful Velada! Together with the great choreography of Maribeth Bichara, Reigh Sy,
the direction by Paolo Bustamante and the sisterhood and unity among all of us made it a spectacular production! There were no sections, just one batch and we are even stronger now and have formed new friendships! I came in halfway through rehearsals already and others came a week before but everyone was willing to teach and make sure all the newcomers knew the steps. I am so proud and so happy I am part of this great batch.
If you are celebrating your Velada in the future, make sure you are part of it!
Here are the videos from the show. Not the professional ones yet as they are not yet ready. These were taken by the husbands of my batch mates – Michelle Grau-Araneta and Marianne Perez-Hernandez. Thanks guys! I was only able to take the middle video which I took from upstairs. Thank you to Michelle’s husband, Louie Araneta, for the beautiful photos. Hope you like them and ENJOY! 🙂
I love this hanky of my Lola!!! This is an old old hanky and it is handsewn with all of our names! This is all of us grandkids ( some with cute wrong spellings haha! )
We are all proud of our Lola and we love her! Today is her special day and I want to shout it out loud and greet her here – Happy Birthday Lola Charing!!
