Superdry Student Shopping Spree

By | Fashion, What's New at Rustan's | No Comments

British clothing brand Superdry debuted in the Philippines only a couple of months ago, but the hype for this label best known for their relaxed yet fashion-forward design and aspirational tailoring has hit Manila’s stylish set full force.

On Friday, December 21, 2012, Superdry will have their Student Lockin promo as they treat students to a night of exclusive shopping at their boutique in Bonifacio High Street Central from 6:00PM to 10:00PM only. During this period, students will simply present their student I.D. and immediately get a 15% discount on all Superdry merchandise from apparel, footwear, accessories, and all other items.

To keep the night laid back and fun, Superdry will delight all guests who want to drop by with music by Deeper Manila’s DJ Kass and DJ Justin de Guzman, right inside the store. As an added treat, Superdry will also be giving away two Tees in Tins to lucky students attending that night.

Born from an inspirational trip to Tokyo, Superdry offers clothing with impeccable quality and an iconic modern aesthetic. Worn by Hollywood A-listers, this unique urban outerwear and denim label fuses Japanese graphics, vintage Americana and the finest British tailoring. Superdry’s core philosophy is to offer ‘future classics’ with incredible detailing, original fits, and vintage washes, at attractive prices creating clothing that suits every age.

With its sight set on becoming a world-leading lifestyle brand, Superdry’s high quality and top designs will keep students in the Metro looking their best this Holiday season.

Sensei Sushi Bar by Chef Broosy

By | Celebrations, Foodie | One Comment

The gang had our christmas get together and we went to the South which is nearer for Pao and Trina.  We were so happy because we discovered this place in BF Homes. Pao and Trina had heard about it from their sister, Bea.   It is only a year old and because they were celebrating their anniversary, we got a 15% discount on our bill 🙂

This was our baby shower celebration as well for our dear friend, Trina who is about to pop soon 🙂

Pao and Trina are expecting a girl, so don’t ask me why I brought blue themed decorations thinking it was a boy!  I knew very well it was a girl!  Stress and age 🙂

Then Pao and Trina arrived!! And told us that we should look for the Chef and order the Omakaze meal!  After ordering all those, we realized we made a mistake!  But anyway, Pao looked for the Chef and apparently he was the guy behind the counter and we did not even know!  Meet Chef Broosy!! So young, 21 years old!! Listen to him 🙂

We requested to do half Omakaze since we ordered almost half the menu already 🙂  He is requesting for two days notice and a budget which cannot be below P 1,500 per person for the Omakaze.  He will prepare a surprise meal for you for up to 15 dishes!!!!!

This was what we had that evening….

Flames Of Love Soundtrack by Bea Tantoco

By | Entertainment | 4 Comments

Congratulations to my cousin, Bea Tantoco!!!!  She now sings for movie soundtracks!!!  Heart2Heart is so proud.  Listen to the song, click on the arrow below

From Bea

My most recent project was singing for the movie theme song of this Filipino film, Flames of Love. I watched the movie and its not your typical tagalog film. Yes, it has the drama, the infidelity, prostitution, and all that jazz but with a twist– teaching us how to pray and to go to God. I really acknowledge and support Tita Baby Nebrida for putting out a movie such as this. It’s definitely worth watching to see what is now possible for the film and entertainment industry here in the Philippines.

The song I sang was written by Baby Nebrida, composed and arranged by Chase Lomibao and Carlos Magno- featuring moi

Love,  Bea
