Seal Plastic Bags with Old Bottle Caps

By | Green | 2 Comments

Received an email from Tita Brenda – What a good idea for recycling bottle caps

Cut up a disposable water bottle and keep the neck and top.

good-idea-01.jpeg

Insert the plastic bag through the neck and screw the top to seal.

The bag is made air-tight, water will not leak, it is easy to open and the top and screw cap can be used over again!

Foyers

By | Homes and Interiors, Travel | No Comments

In the building that we stayed in, this was the foyer as soon as the elevator opens.  And it was quite interesting because each floor was decorated differently

foyers-02.jpeg

James would press one floor when we go up or down just to see how the floors were decorated.  We didn’t do it too often since we might be stopped by security!  🙂  here are some of the floors we were able to look at

And the journey continues in search for a good school

Previous entry:  Philips Exeter Academy, Exeter,  New Hampshire August 10, 2010

This time we we visited Hotchkiss

hotchkiss_school_in_lakesville_ct_3.jpghotchkiss-02.jpg

I noticed that these schools are “provincial” in a way that they are very secluded with not much distraction around the area which gives the kids an environment that is conducive to studying
