We are so so sad we were not able to join the wedding of Caloy and Ria in Bangkok. Thanks to Carmina once again for sharing the photos. We heard it was really beautiful! Carmina is such a wonderful sister to organize and plan the wedding. I was teasing Carmina that it was her wedding 🙂 I talked to Caloy and he told me he would receive 100 ( exaggerated 🙂 ) emails a day from Carmina about the wedding. haha!! Then he told me he was really lucky to have Raffy and Carmina who helped with all the wedding details. Congrats Caloy and Ria!
Sharing the guide as well, in case you may get some ideas on places to stay, go and eat in Bangkok

Thank you to our friend Carmina for sharing the details of the bridal shower she organized and prepared for her future sister in law ( at that time ) 🙂
For Ria’s shower, I wanted to surprise her. She had no idea about the theme. So when I came with ‘sugar and spice, naughty and nice’ I wanted to make sure every detail reflected that-from the invite to the decor
Caloy surprised Ria by passing by before his dinner with the boys.
The Crazy Cook, (a.k.a. me!) Lovingly prepared the spread. Here are some of the things I served (and most were in the pink-zebra theme too!):
Tuna-cilantro on kao tung crackers
Pomelo salad
Kofta with yogurt
Black sesame and raspberry macarons
Miso chocolate cupcakes
Berry trifle
the entertainment – we hired drag queens
the game – pin the panty on Caloy’s pic

Gap is proud to announce the launch of its first collection by Diane von Furstenberg for GapKids and babyGap for Spring 2012, for girls from newborn to age 14.
Launching exclusively in
At the heart of the collection are vintage Diane von Furstenberg prints, including the instantly recognizable hibiscus and leaf motifs. Diane’s signature prints meet Gap’s relaxed style, and are playfully mixed, encouraging young girls to be bold and play with their personal style. The legendary wrap is re-invented with a child-like higher waist detail, in structured cotton or as a jersey romper shape for babies and toddlers.
The dress collection continues with a series of exquisite cotton shift dresses that incorporate print with a refined appliqué daisy detail or delicate layers of cotton voile, as well as an elegant white cotton eyelet style that’s perfect for the Summer months.
as well as the lining of one of the star pieces – a navy stripe seersucker blazer, customized with a “Diane von Furstenberg” crest and badges calling out “DVF Gap” and Diane’s personal mantra “Love is Life.”
For Moms and the youngest babies, vintage prints appear on onesies and rompers.
Diane von Furstenberg comments, “I am thrilled to collaborate with Gap on this playful collection for girls. It is timeless…colorful…effortless. That is very DVF!”
Gap is exclusively distributed in the Philippines by Casual Clothing Specialists, Inc. (CCSI), a subsidiary of Stores Specialists, Inc. and is available at SM Mall of Asia, Shangri-La Plaza Mall, TriNoMa Mall, Glorietta 4, Bonifacio High Street, Alabang Town Center, SM Megamall, Robinsons Place Manila and Abreeza Mall in Davao.

I feel bad now that it is so far away from home and took it for granted being nearer in the Makati area. I want to try the other dishes so will try to come back again
