Life is Good

Guess who joined me today for bootcamp?  My best friend Eds!  We planned it last minute last night since she wanted to have breakfast and go to mass!  Instead I dragged her to come with me to exercise 🙂  There she is in the middle holding Ned 🙂

We did half class of bootcamp since I wanted her to try also Retro class which I knew she would enjoy.  I did 30 minutes more and she continued for an hour 🙂

After exercising, I invited all of my bestfriends to breakfast.  All of this was unplanned and just last minute plans of getting together.  The thing is, this was how I was envisioning how I would have wanted to spend my birthday – nothing fancy but just being with my best friends – my husband, James, my girl bestfriend Eds and my boy bestfriend Ned 🙂  What more could I ask for?

Eds and I shared a Polo Club sandwich and Of course Ned had the healthy breakfast.  James could not wait till 9am to have breakfast so he just sat with us.  Thank you Ned for treating us for breakfast!!

I planned to be in the office by 930am but ended up arriving at 11am, had a meeting, signed some papers and left.   Shared a cake which my other office family gave me ( Thank you for my cute cake ) with my Golden Spoon family in the office.  I saw my sister there so I was able to spend time with another bestfriend of mine. Didnt get to take her photo though

Mr. Blue always remembers me on all occasions with greeting card and gift 🙂

Met Javier at church to pray

And Chef Javs had to rush home to cook for dinner.  He insisted on eating at home and him cooking despite my wishes to just eat out! 🙂  But he is always so sweet to want to cook for us.  Invited Dad and Mom to join our little celebration

Thank you to Lauro and Grace Baja for my birthday cake which we had for dinner!  It is really gigantic!  My first time to have a giant cookie cake.  I had it with Starbucks coffee ice cream!  YUM!

Heli from Manila to Subic and Back

By | Travel | 2 Comments

It’s a totally different world out there and it’s so nice to view our country from the air!  Truly a blessing to be given this opportunity again.  My first view was Solaire!

Mall of Asia beside Solaire

We have a nice skyline!

Hong Kong? 🙂

Port

TREES TREES TREES!

A house in the middle of nowhere

Anvaya Cove!

Ocean Adventure- there is actually a helipad by Ocean adventure so you can land near there

30 minutes from Manila to Subic – with extra tour of Anvaya cove 🙂

Going back from Subic to Manila

Manila Yacht Club

Royal Subic!! WOOHOO!

That’s Javier!!! Waving at us from Gourmet Garage!!! Bye Javs!!

The other part of the group took the car and it took them 6 hours to get to Subic since it was Holy Thursday.  We passed by SCTEX to look and see what was happening.  They said they were stuck here for an hour or more just waiting for the toll booth to enter Subic.  So glad we took the heli and be able to save time!  We went back when they had just arrived

More views from the air

Wondering who lives there

The church and school that sank during the flood in Pampanga I think – I forgot where this was

Up close

the school

More photos

Venice Filipino style 🙂

Smokey Mountain that is cleared already

The boats that used to transport the trash

Approaching Manila

I love this shot! I asked James to take a photo from the front of the heli- this is approaching Manila

Or is it NYC?  🙂 Beautiful skyline

Hong Kong? 🙂

Approaching airport

Thank you Lord for a safe trip!

I should never have ridden that heli, I am enjoying it too much! 🙂  A friend, Archi Po, owner of Lionair, offered us a round trip ride, so we took the opportunity to take it to Subic!

WOW!

There were many of this.  James told me that this helicopter is easy to maintain just like a car which explains why it is popular

Thank you to the Spoiled Mummy for a wonderful afternoon at Wildflour.  Grace updated me on her blog and she is gathering quite a number of followers who love to see her recipes, her discoveries and she told me she also likes writing about beauty products….after all, many are wondering what her beauty secrets are and she happily shares them 🙂

Finally I am able to try it out.  The place is a breath of fresh air even though it’s packed with people at 3 in the afternoon

Where all the pastries are baked fresh daily

I had not eaten lunch and saved my apetite for our merienda so I was the only one who ate! Grace just had her coffee
