Fresh White Asparagus from Germany

A few weeks ago when Mart arrived from Germany – he brought back for us Fresh white asparagus!!! Thank you Mart!!  

Chef Javs cooked it for us and said that we did not need to have Hollandaise sauce, he just put this BBQ bacon salt which Lola Reggie gave to him

And true enough it was really good!! Heart2Heart now loves fresh white asparagus!!

 Chef Javs is sneaky because he still kept some aside and ate it again the next evening when Papa and Mama were away.  He sent us a photo of what he made 🙂

Here it is – he wrapped Hobbs bacon around the asparagus – Wow!

    Just had some last week as well, steamed with hollandaise sauce! Yummy! 🙂

    Wrapping the asparagus with bacon is not a bad idea at all – I’ll try this. I’ve always prepared asparagus (both white and green) with runny sunny side-up eggs also without hollandaise sauce. I like Jav’s ideas – thanks for sharing 🙂

    Steamed is healthy – hollandaise not healthy haha!! But Cat I love white asparagus!! Jovie, chef javs has many good ideas…. Yummy but sometimes unhealthy 🙂 once in awhile is ok so go for it!! 🙂
