We were surprised when one day Chef Javs said he wanted to prepare a degustation! He must have been inspired by something for him to do this. He wanted the whole family to come but just a few could make it on short notice. This was five weeks ago so it is a delayed post. He did not want me to post it because he feels it’s not so good, but I told him that it was very good especially for his first time.
I went behind the scenes to check on my Chef 🙂
Appetizer – Foie gras pate with apple – This looks very simple but it was really good
Assistant William grilling the chicken yakitori 🙂 in the garden
He comes out to explain each dish
Our first dish, Potato tortilla with potato foam and crispy potatoes and green onions. He used the whipper to make the foam – so you can say this is molecular gastronomy 🙂
When Mom saw this dish, she rushed to bring out her caviar and added it 🙂
Chicken Yakitori cooked in three different ways – teriyaki, with truffle salt and soy sauce
Chef Javs checking on his brother making sure he is enjoying 🙂 Manong is one of his biggest fans
Mushroom pasta with Bryan Flannery Dry Aged Rib Eye
Cheering for Chef Javs!! We are so proud of our little chef!
Salmon with Cream cheese in Phyllo pastry – it was a big big portion – we told the Chef that he should make his portions smaller 🙂 He doesn’t realize that we do not eat as much as he does! 🙂
Chef Javs has so many assistants in the kitchen! 🙂

What a beautiful movie! Everyone is talking about Oprah, but Forest Whitaker was also so good!!
A very heartwarming and inspiring movie based on a true story. Currently the number one movie in the USA. Showing on Wednesday, August 21 in all SM Cinemas!
People came and braved the rains to watch the premiere and it was all worth it!

We had a fun Dove event a few weeks back. Heart2Heart loves Dove not only for their wonderful products but because of their advocacy on making women confident and bringing out their beauty inside and out
We talked about underarms!!! 🙂 All women are conscious about their underarms and Dove makes women confident and feel beautiful!
Women shared their underarm stories
Dra. Anna Palabyab, Dermatologist, gave us some tips on how to care for our underarms and recommends using Dove as part of our daily beauty regimen
Gabbie Agarrado who is in charge of research and development for Dove tells us about the product and challenged us to take the 7 Day Dove Challenge
And I did! 🙂 And it really works in just 7 days!!!! You have to try it to believe it. It’s a great product because it is not only a deodorant but it moisturizes and cares for your skin.
There are 3 different variants depending on your skin typeThe blue one is the original scent ( above )
