The Lopezes celebrated Jaime’s birthday!  At Premio!  I am so happy to be back here Previous entry:  Premio September 24, 2012 From Farm to Fork!  This seems to be the trend now – like Grace Park and Foragers in NYC Thank you Chef Cheska Cariño for taking care of us and preparing a special meal for us  They had an event on the second floor for the Gilas team and we have the whole ground floor all to ourselves! 🙂  Mom had them change the table into square so we can all face each other Love the Ball jars as lights 🙂 Food items being served from this shelf and also being sold for take out Bread Basket – A Selection of Homemade breads served war with Red Wine Butter, Unsalted butter and smoked salt Potato and Camote Crisps Premio Charcuterie Board – This was really very good!  We had 3 boards!  The Double smoked bacon is so good – it is comparable to Wolfgang’s bacon!  A MUST when in Premio! With brookies!!!  Put the mallow on the brookies and eat it together! YUM! Everyone attacking the birthday cake! We had a very good server- Cyn!  She is a gem!  She knows every dish in the restaurant and gives the best service! Premio has Friday specials which look like fun 🙂 [email_link]
For as long as I can remember, my Dad and one of his bestfriends, Tito Boni, have been seeing each other every week, every tuesday for lunch!  They call it Tuesday lunch 🙂  They are so cute and I admire them for what they have.  They take turns choosing the restaurant to eat it.  After awhile, they were inviting the family to join – so whoever can make it – we join the lunch.  A few weeks ago, I was the only one who could make it 🙂    Dad loves Kuretake and for a time and until now he chooses to come here and he used to have Chicken teriyaki every single time.  It’s a good thing that lately he has changed to having this set meal with grilled jaw Previous entry:  Kuretake Dec. 6, 2010 My order [email_link]
Time flies so fast, I cannot believe I have an 18 year old!  18 years means 19 years of marriage, that’s how I keep track 🙂 Happy Birthday to my son who is now an adult.  I wish and pray for only the best and that God may continue to bless him  Jaime had a small and intimate celebration at home for his 18th birthday  He invited his closest friends We hired Gourmet Garage and Chef Booj to cook for that evening Previous entry:  Gourmet Garage Now Caters August 13, 2013 After dinner, they are all prepared for their sleepover 🙂 They went to Hyve after dinner.  Jaime prepared 13 lootbags for him and his friends [email_link]
My son, Jaime, wanted to do some charity work during his summer break together with his friends.  I was so happy he asked my advice and he chose our very own foundation.  He wanted to do a basketball clinic but I told him the kids might be too young yet and it was rainy season so I suggested a field trip which I had been planning but has not pushed through.  It was a good thing too because it was typhooning days before and they had arrived late due to traffic.  For the day, we adopted 23 kids from the Sister of the Poor of St. Catherine of Siena We started with feeding them breakfast to make sure they do not get hungry till lunch Then we immediately left for Manila Ocean Park Thank you to Jaime’s best friends for joining and helping out – Charles Lane, Dachan Park, Gabs Villafuerte, Bettina Lichauco and of course litre brother, Javier joined us too.  Each of them were assigned to take car of 3 to 4 kids each The two sisters that accompanied the kids from the Sisters of the Poor of Catherine of St. Siena Thank you Ocean park for partially sponsoring our field trip – we went to four different places in the park First stop was the Oceanarium Playing around 🙂 Lining up to enter Antartica It was so cute- the penguins would follow the hands of the kids wherever they moved it Jaime and friends wanted photo ops so they went inside and fed the penguins Slide O’ Fun!  This was actually fun but not all the kids could ride because they had to be a certain height to ride it SNOW!!! 🙂 This was my favorite part in Ocean Park! Bird of Prey was our last stop Feeding the eagles This was my first time to go to Manila Ocean Park.  I look at it as a Mall which you can enter even without any entrance fee.  There are certain areas where you have to pay an entrance fee – like all these attractions.  There are also other rides and shows which you have to pay separately depending on what you want to do.  Then aside from that there are many shops and food stall around the place.  Group Shot before leaving The kids were all sleepy and tired on the way home 🙂 We fed them lunch back at headquarters before they went home!  Yummy Munla bbq for the kids Plus yummy Golden Spoon chocolate frozen yogurt for everyone!! I took a photo of each of them happily eating their yogurt 🙂 And lootbags prepared by Jaime and his friends!! Which includes Cheese Curl barrels sponsored by Herr’s snacks!!  Thank you Herr’s! The sisters have to drive the kids 🙂  Click below to go to the website of Manila Ocean Park – they have many new things coming up [email_link]
