Upon arrival, we rushed right away to have lunch at the Borough market at Elliot’s. We were invited by my cousin since this is one of her favorite spots in London
She ordered all the starters and we ordered the main
Buffalo mozzarella and red pepper and basil
Artichokes ala qrecque
Ria recommended this so almost everyone ordered cheeseburger- so when it arrived – the dolly was full of cheeseburgers! 🙂

From New York, we flew to London to visit the Queen! oops, I mean to meet the Mayor 🙂 We stayed in Beaufort House which is a serviced apartment located two blocks away from Harrods 🙂
It’s an old building but inside it is renovated- the Lobby
We got a three bedroom since we were a big family – we could not even fit so one couple had to stay across in a hotel. It’s nice because we can all stay together – and it has a living room, dining room and kitchen – and even laundry machine
This was our bedroom – I was not able to take the other two because it was not fixed at the time we arrived 🙂 The Master bedroom had its own bathroom and the two other shared one plus there was another guest bathroom

The Foodie son told us to try this, so we did! We lined up.
He warned us that it is the Halal Guys with a line since there are many other stalls that look similar like this one beside the LOVE sign
This was the one across the MOMA on 53rd street
And yes there was a long line
I wanted a photo of all the Halal Guys but they were so busy but this guy who served my chicken rice was kind enough to pose for me 🙂
Chicken and rice with extra white sauce
We crossed the street and sat on the stairs of the building
Watching the long line to the MOMA Free Friday nights and enjoying our chicken rice!

The Foodie’s 18th birthday was prolonged with so many celebrations 🙂 This was finally the day itself and he picked a place from his list. I love trying new restaurants and Jaime is adventurous too!
It was only Me and Jaime since James was not feeling that well that evening
Exhaust 🙂 on top of each table
The foodie is adventurous – he was attracted to this restaurant because of the unique menu offering they had – read carefully below 🙂
Foie Gras Stuffed Mini kobe burger!! It was really mini 🙂 but an interesting dish!!! They poured the hot chocolate sauce on top!!
Niku Uni
Instead of ordering the regular kalbi and other grilled meats you can get in other restaurants, we got the Pot Kalbi which is a house special – it’s marinated overnight for 24 hours with their special sauce and has miso butter sauce on the side. I am not sure why it’s not in the menu on the website
Shio Tan – Tongue. We wanted the special tongue to try something different but they were out of it
The birthday boy chose the dessert! Why Choose? “I’ll have it with the works”! YUM!
