Driving out of Santander on our way to our next city, Oviedo. We stopped by Santillian on the way which is part of the Camino so you can see some pilgrims passing by. A very nice quaint town. I love walking through the little towns in Europe

We only stayed overnight in Santander and so we had one meal and it was a very very good meal!!! A small restaurant
with no frills 
We were very cozy in our table since the place was quite small, but it was worth it!!! That is the owner there in the photo and she was so busy helping out!
Finally gambas!! SUPER YUM! and calamares that was so fresh and so good!!! Dad was happy to have one of his favorite Spanish wines, Antonio Barbadillo
My dad was also very happy he finally had his percebes! I think this is a guy thing because it was only the guys who ate it! and they enjoyed so much!
Fresh lobster that was so so good!!!!!! We were really so happy They offered other fresh seafood but we were already full
All the desserts were good too! Tocino del Cielo, Leche Flan and local pastries

We walked around a little before dinner
I love the old style elevators that even have benches so you can sit

From Bilbao, we made our way to Santander
We stopped on the way to have lunch at Casa Enrique. We remembered our youngest brother, Quito named Enrique An old family restaurant with recipes passed on from generation to generation

The place is patterned after Willy Wonka’s Chocolate factory which explains the peppermint tubes going around the restaurant
In the showcases are the collectibles and personal items of Chefs Rob and Sunshine

Chef Rob was so cute, he was trying to promote healthy to us, we could not relate! haha!! I am not a beets person but I ate everything else. Goat cheese is the “in” cheese nowadays! LOVE!
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Yvette and I were competing with each other quietly and finishing this plate Even the dip was so so good!!!
SUPER YUM Fwaffle! And that dish on top of it is so tempting too Foie Gras Salpicao! I need to try that next time

These cupcakes for me are sophisticated cupcakes I love them because they are so gourmet and have tastes that I have never tasted before on a cupcake!
That Triple salted caramel is so good and I love the presentation with the mini macaron sticking out on the side

My favorite scent from L’ Eau des Collines of Cadentia. Gingembre tonic!
Each scent is personal so there are other scents available
I am so glad other women love Eau des Collines for themselves or for gifts this christmas!! Vanessa Mayuga- Santos – she has an answer for every beauty question! I asked her her favorite scent this was her reply!
