The young people nowadays are amazing! They are very sharp and aggressive! They are successful at a very young age! One of them is Linfred Yap of Wee Nam Kee.
After 8 branches he is now on his second franchise, this time from Japan. Though it is a Japanese restaurant, he discovered it in Singapore. Osaka Ohsho specializing in Gyoza
Congratulations Linfred! More power to you!!
There are three kinds of gyoza – Original, Cheese and Nori ( Seaweed )
Cheese – Parmesan and Gruyere
I like it that there are options for sauces, I like the miso aside from the usual black vinegar sauce. There’s a chili sauce also
Aside from gyoza is an extensive menu with many to choose from
They use a premium kind of Japanese rice, Koshihikari
I enjoyed the Fuwatoro which is omelette over the Koshihikari rice
Love the homemade Japanese ice cream
The world’s #1 gyoza is finally in Manila! Find us at the 3rd floor of SM Megamall’s Fashion Hall. For reservations, text 0917-8285011.

Cute Eco bags from my sister, Margs! It’s for fundraising for Barangay Martinez, an adopted Assumption Community in Antique which was badly affected by Yolanda. It’s a combined effort of all the levels wherein each one had to come up with products to sell. The Pre-Kinder batch decided to do these eco bags. A few more pieces left, Hope you can support. Please contact Margs at 0917-8933913
Congratulations Amy Alvarez, Chef CK Kalaw and Miguel Fernandez on the opening of Lasa! Good friends and now partners in their new venture
Heart2Heart will always support anything Pinoy! Chef CK Kalaw also does a great job giving Pinoy food a twist – a yummy twist 🙂
Lasa has been open for around three weeks already at Commerce Center in Commerce Avenue, Alabang. The building has a few restaurants opened and there are many more to open
Filipino comfort food with a twist 🙂 We enjoyed our dinner!! Heart2Heart loves Chef CK Kalaw’s cooking! Come on over and try it for yourself. I hope you will like the LASA 🙂
Instead of a bread basket, you get a puto plate! This puto plate had talangka butter which was really yummy!!!
and strawberry butter. They sometimes change the butters
Carlo, Amy’s son, made sure I ordered the empanada which is one of their most popular items in the menu
Amy told me that this was one of her home recipes which they adapted for the restaurant. The Garleek broth is the drippings of the Liempo
Laing Bruschetta which is not in the menu but you can order
Loved all the desserts!! That cream fraiche is so so good! I had it with the canonigo as well

Jackie started her collection in 2007 and collects her mugs through her travels
And she trades with other International collectors via a Facebook group where they can trade
Obviously Jackie loves Starbucks! 🙂
Her first mug was the Macau mug which she got in her trip to Macau
Her first batch of collection
And the rest is history! My Dad told me to tell you Jackie that if you need any help please let him know and he will try to do his best to support your endeavor 🙂 Good luck and keep H2H posted so we can update everyone on your collection
They were very successful last year, so they are back!
