Dinner at The Woods

By | Foodie, Travel | No Comments

We of course had dinner here as recommended by the concierge

It’s wood fired everything but there are no pizzas here 🙂  Even the bread is wood fired.   Iggy’s bread and whipped butter

The zoom is amazing!!

Even when the car is moving, it still can take quite a still photo.  This was a shot going down from Tagaytay

Appetito

By | Foodie, Travel | No Comments

Nearby the hotel is this Italian restaurant which we liked 🙂  It’s across the Museum of Contemporary Art.  There were other good Italian restaurant recommendations, but sometimes convenience wins 🙂

I liked the Vespa display in front 🙂

It has three floors, this being the second and where we stayed

It’s a cozy place to meet up with friends!  We were so happy to see Mayet.  If you are a regular customer of Rustan’s Supermarket Makati, you will know this lady.  One of our most loyal employees and the best in customer service.  She now lives in Sydney and first worked in David Jones as customer service rep and now moved to America Express  first as Customer Care professional and now Resolution Analyst.  Obviously an expert in customer service.  We love her!

UGG Australia

By | Fashion, Travel | No Comments

When in Australia, Make sure to buy the most comfy boots ever 🙂  UGG.  I want the pink one!! 🙂 but it’s for kids! haha

Cute!!

Near the Museum of Contemporary Arts, there is an UGG store.

I call this the Michael Jackson UGG 🙂

When buying UGGs i find that buying the colourful ones are more fun rather than always buying black or brown

There are many all over town but beware of counterfeit UGGs

By | Arts and Culture, Travel | No Comments

About a street away across the Four Seasons Hotel is the Museum of Contemporary Art.  There are no entrance fees to the museum.  Only for Special exhibits that happens once or twice a year

Quay Sydney

By | Foodie, Travel | No Comments

Two or three friends recommended this place, so we made sure to try it.  It was very hard to reserve  so we just got whatever slot was available which was a late lunch.  It was worth it.  Walk towards the port to the Passenger Terminal

img_0363.jpg

It’s in the corner of the second floor

View from the second floor facing the city

Facade of the restaurant

View of the Harbour Bridge

And supposedly the Opera House but since there as a Cruise Ship docked at that time, this was our view 🙂
