Dolphin Watching in Bais Negros Oriental

By July 24, 2014 Nature, Travel No Comments

We arrived at the Bais pier getting ready to go boating to Tañon strait to visit the dolphins 🙂

It’s so quiet and peaceful.  We were the only ones.  Loved it!!

Our boat which we rented for P 4,000.00

Just beautiful!!

Our tour guide Jac Señagan – he is trying to spot the dolphins 🙂  It’s great that he has binoculars.  Jac is a birdwatcher so I assume he is good in spotting dolphins because we saw so many dolphins that morning.  Truly magical!!

I have three videos here – It’s just so amazing!!!!

After Dolphin watching, we went to the Manjuyod Sandbar but unfortunately there was no sandbar.  There are 4 cottages which you can rent out ( P 3,500 ) and use to hang out and eat in but we decided to just stay in the boat

This is the big cottage which will cost a bit more than the small ones but it can fit a lot maybe up to 30.  There was a big group who rented it that morning

We had lunch, we hung out

You can sleep and lay down by the net of the boat

We swam

Javier and Sophia were so brave to swim all the way to the abyss – that point where the water changes colour, there is a drop which becomes an abyss.  They went to look at it

SUPER FUN!!!!
