Oh My Gulay Baguio

My friend, Ginge, told me about this place Oh My Gulay 🙂 We rarely eat out in Baguio and usually stay home so we have little time to really eat out. So I went to the place just to take a look at it! It’s this green building across ( La Azotea building 108 Session road ) the Starbucks in Session road. Good thing the others went to Starbucks so i took advantage and crossed the street to check it out

There’s no elevator in the building so you have to climb up to the penthouse 🙂

You see the entrance from the floor before, 4th floor

Aside from the vegetarian cafe, it is also a venue to house arts and talents from the Cordilleras

Entrance- I thought I was entering a Disneyland ride 🙂

There’s a small side entrance which has a stairway to go up to the cafe seating

There are many areas for seating – up, down, balcony, under 🙂 Very nice place 🙂

The menu 🙂 Vegetarian. We must come back one day to try

D Vision Custom Metal Works

We were so happy to see Tito Frank and Tita Annie!! They used to be our neighbours when they were living in Manila till they went back to Arizona

This trip, Greg and Junie came along so it was nice to see them too!!

Junie is the daughter of Tito Frank and Tita Annie and she was 14 years old and I was 9 years old back then. I would bug her everyday and go next door after school. I must have been a pest 🙂 Junie stayed for only 3 years and now lives with her family in the Bay Area

Greg and Junie design and manufacture wrought iron, brass, stainless steel doors, staircases etc for interior designers and direct clients in San Francisco. Even metal works can be customised 🙂

They gave this beautiful heart decor which they made to Dad and Mom for their anniversary 🙂

I googled “20 Incredible places” and there were quite a lot of searches that popped up! And just imagining how many beautiful places there are in this world and if one person can actually see the whole world in their lifetime 🙂 Whatever it is, there is much to explore and see and God has created a beautiful world. I always tell my family that we should explore and not always go to the same places because there is so much more out there!! Posting here two articles out of the many out there.

TPLex and SCTex

Heart2Heart loves these two highways! From SCTex it will lead you to TPlex ( Tarlac-Pangasinan- La Union Expressway) which is now a quicker way to get to Baguio. The TPLex is an 88.85 km four lane expressway currently under construction North of Manila. It connects central to northern Luzon, with its southernmost terminal located in Tarlac City. Tarlac and it’s planned northernmost terminus currently slated to be at Rosario, La Union.

I don’t mind driving here, it’s so smooth, so peaceful and so beautiful!!!

The scenery is just amazing! God in action in this photo 🙂

This was towards the end of the TPLEx ( a moving shot ) It’s a beautiful scene with trees lined up in a row and a beautiful field!!

Updates from Motorino

We love Motorino!! There is no pizza like this in the metro!!

We went to Motorino last week and was happy to see that they now have outside seating 🙂 It’s a good sign 🙂

In just two months of operations, Motorino is a Trip Advisor awardee already

They will soon be launching their gelato!!

You can now order Motorino for delivery!

They have a new and updated menu

They can also remove the kernels already for you 🙂

Track Day with JP Tuason

We went mainly to Clark to come here

I like it when my boys invite me to join their adventures so I just come to see what they do

Race car drivers practicing for the VIOS cup which was held last July 26

So happy to see Tonyboy Escalante on the track

Apparently his son is a very good race car driver and Papa Tonyboy was there watching and supporting him

JP Tuason Racing school was giving lessons that day

They provide everything including food and also the cars for practice, in this case it’s Toyota VIOS

Upstairs is a room where you can watch the race from. I wish they told me this earlier and I could have watched from here 🙂

Binulo Restaurant Clark

We went to Clark and of course I always take a detour to try something in the area we are visiting 🙂 My friend, Timmy recommended this place so I went to check it out

SOP for me when ordering is to ask the waiter what is the bestseller and I like ordering the bestseller 🙂 He said kare kare but then I don’t eat kare kare so I asked him what was the second bestseller, he said sisig! Done! 🙂 YUM! I was alone so I could only order one dish in fact I even asked if I could have half an order 🙂 I wish we were more so I could try more dishes. Hoping to return one day 😉
