Last week, I met a pretty lady, Victoria Marin.  She’s French- Filipino Spanish-Chinese but is based in Manila and Hong Kong where she has an office.  She exports and manufactures in Cebu for well known  brands.  I am visitor number two in her Manila showroom here in Manila.  You can buy for persona or work with her on special orders.  She has new items every two weeks.  It’s by appointment only so please contact her at 0927-7359880

Arion Marin, the eldest son of Victoria.  Very handsome and apparently is a movie actor in Hong Kong since he is based there.  He came out in the movie Ip Man which is a famous martial arts movie in HK and he has been in other independent films in HK.  He’s trying to get some acting stints in Manila but has to learn Filipino.  If you want to meet him, you have to visit the Victoria Marin showroom 🙂  So All you single ladies out there, come on over! 🙂

Thanks to Lolo and Lola for this new Sous vide machine which Chef Javs is using nowadays for cooking. Â With this you can cook your food at a controlled temperature so this will guarantee that you food will be cooked at the right donenessÂ

There are just some things in life that you want to bring back but because of time and circumstance, things change.  Even friends change.  Reminiscing back to my high school days when I was new at Assumption San Lorenzo and there were three friends who welcomed me immediately and made me feel at home – Tinette Lanuza dela Vega, Peachy Zulueta Maxwald,  and Eds Genuino.  We were classmates and we were together every single day, talking on the phone every single day and were the best of friends.  Many years later, we find ourselves in different worlds and I am happy that today I am reunited with two of the three.  Peachy who now lives in Switzerland is here for the summer and Eds who is still my best friend till now.  And I love Peachy booboo who I now pressure like when we were in high school and I would go to her house everyday after school.Â
We had breakfast at Chelsea Grand Cafe . Loved the bread plate 🙂
