I met a very nice lady, Tita Nena Ortoll.  She did not want me to take her photo 🙂  She is from Assumption Class ’64 and they started this fund raiser by selling mass cards! Every year they are able to give 2,000 children  from the Assumption Mission schools all the school supplies that they need for the year.  She told me they have to identify what each grade needs,  then how many in each grade and then they will buy all the supplies.  Afterwhich the batch gets together to pack them and she told me that this was the most fun part 🙂
