We missed each other so much after our Dumaguete trip, we had a reunion a few weeks after our trip 🙂

Thanks Bulgin and Lills for hosting! I insisted on a blue and white theme 🙂Homemade iced tea and fresh buko juice

It was a fondue dinner and I was in charge of sauces 🙂 Bernaise, Tartare, Spicy Catsup, Curry and Peanut butter Instead of cooking with a fondue cooker – we just had it cooked so it’s faster 🙂 No need to wait one by one 🙂 Thanks to Chef Arnel for cooking for us Potluck Fondue so people were assigned to bring rib eye beef, chicken and pork

I also brought the sate riceLills brought buko from Bulacan – so the juice went to the juice dispenser and the shells she used as a bowl to serve the fruit salad she made 🙂 YUMMY!!Plus she made banana turon which she claims is the best! 🙂 YUM![email_link]

They won’t give out prices on the phone or will not email a list, so I picked this up 🙂 I want to try the others. I love Costa Brava and I love Mrs. Nadine Liu 🙂 I normally only get to try the caramel cake and White Birthday cake. Hope to try more 🙂

My family loves bolognese. There is this certain bolognese we love and this is close to it and it does not use beef but all vegetables. Love the fresh basil leaves as you open the bottleI chose whole wheat noodles and Nicole said to sprinkle fresh parmesan cheese on top. My friend Trish said she eats this as a soup too 🙂

Highschool Reunion

We had a reunion with our high school friends from almost 30 years ago!! We were a big group which consisted of different smaller groups and we would see each other often and some of us almost everyday. We were so close and some were more than friends ( Uyyy 🙂 ) or at least wanted to be more than friends 🙂 But when we all went our separate ways for college, we did not see each other as a group since then…

Manila’s Best @ Polo

I remember a few years back, Chef Vicky Clemente was doing a survey. She asked me what my favourite cakes were. I figured later on that this was probably the reason she was doing a survey – trying to find out the popular desserts! When Chef Vicky started as a consultant for the Manila Polo Club, she did many changes to the Food and Beverage department and I am happy to say that they have been effective. I particularly like the fact that you can get many of the city’s best desserts from the club and not having to pick up in far places. Far to me is Quezon City, Pasig area or the Alabang area in the South. This is convenient for the members of the club. Hoping that maybe someone can do this for the public too 🙂 I am sure many would pay a little more to have the convenience of just picking up their favourite desserts in a location closer to them [email_link]
