Visiting the Kusama Collection

By | Arts and Culture, Philippine Star Lifestyle Section | No Comments

Since I missed the exhibit at the Ayala Museum last year, I was happy to see the Kusama Collection of Tito Lito and Tita Kim Camacho in their home.  The collection comprises of 60 Kusama works of art

Teddy’s Bigger Burgers

By | Foodie | One Comment

Brunch with the girlfriends 🙂  Thanks to Alexie for bringing us to her friend’s place, Teddy’s Bigger Burgers!  They are the same ones bringing in Wolfgang Steakhouse which will be sometime in January next year
Teddy's Bigger Burgers (2)I was there before it opened 🙂  I requested for brunch and I think it was a good idea because people were already starting to come in and when 12 noon came, the lines were long

And because it’s called Bigger Burgers – I made sure we ordered the biggest burger they had!! I told Alexie that we should just share it amongst us and it was just rightTeddy's Bigger Burgers (16)18 oz. BIGGEST Double Monster Burger with special toppings Kailua which is their best seller.  My friend, JJ Yulo, recommends it Medium rare!  I agree! Or maybe Medium.  They say to put peanut butter to give it a different twist, but I did not know if we should have risked it for a big burger so we will be back to try it!!  Teddy's Bigger Burgers (21)We ask them to split this into three but they were only able to half it – so we just split the two halves for a third portionTeddy's Bigger Burgers (24)Bestselling side is Tater tots so we ordered itTeddy's Bigger Burgers (23)Onion ringsTeddy's Bigger Burgers (22)Coffee Shake which is 90% ice cream so you can imagine how thick it is

Dinner at the Manila Yacht Club

By | Celebrations | No Comments

I have not been here in a long time! So nice to be back!!  It was a long holiday and many were out of town.  Bombi planned a get together for Suharto and Rina and it was nice because the city was so peaceful, there was no traffic to get to Roxas Boulevard (except for the container trucks lining up on one side of the road)Dinner at the Manila Yacht Club (1)Dinner at the Manila Yacht Club (2)Dinner at the Manila Yacht Club (3)
