Driving to Half Moon Bay

By | Philippine Star Lifestyle Section, Travel | No Comments

Our friend, June, told us to drive to Half Moon Bay and in an instant we took her advice  Driving to Half Moon Bay (2)

I love road trips!!  I used to dread riding the car to get to a place, but there is actually so much to see on the road!  I can’t even put down my camera.  I never sleep or work anymore in the car.  The problem now is that the trip gets longer because I always want to stop and take photos of the beautiful things we see on the wayDriving to Half Moon Bay (3)

Driving to Half Moon Bay (4)

On the way to Half Moon Bay, there is a short stretch of these trees.  It’s an amazing sight – make sure to look to the left going there or on the right going back homeDriving to Half Moon Bay (18)

Driving to Half Moon Bay (1)

The drive is only around 30 to 40 minutes.  It might take longer during weekends.  So just like anything else, it’s always best to go non peak days.

Wingstop Delaware

By | Foodie, Travel | No Comments

It’s nearer for me to go to Wingstop in the Bay Area than to go to Wingstop in Katipunan! haha!!  I am so happy to finally try Wingstop and I would like to compare the one in America to the one here 🙂  Wingstop Delaware (1)

Wingstop Delaware (6)I got the 10 piece ( 2 flavours ) and shared it with James.  We had Lemon Pepper, Garlic Parmesan and seasoned fries 🙂  Between the two flavours we had them split it into classic wings and boneless

Garlic Parmesan- Yummy  and hoping they offered extra cheese and extra butterWingstop Delaware (9)

Boneless – In America boneless wings is not really wings without the bones.  They use the breast part.  So they are just like Chicken nuggets 🙂  Here are the boneless pieces we had in Lemon Pepper and Garlic ParmesanWingstop Delaware (11)

Varsity Volleyball in the Bay Area

By | Sports | No Comments

The parents in the Bay Area are so busy always driving their kids to school, picking them up, watching their games.  So one day I decided to join them and watch one of the volleyball games of the kids!  Volleyball is really a popular sport among the young girls now ( Previous entry Bea De Leon August 22, 2014 ) and both daughters of my friends are in varsity!
