Back at the beautiful campus of Jaime. This time it’s Autumn.
Jaime is a prefect in his dorm which means he is in charge 🙂 He is responsible for the other kids in the dorm.
He has a new roommate every year and this time it’s Charley
Being a prefect and being a seniors has its perks 🙂 He has a bigger room 🙂 which becomes a hang out for many who come over
This time I am controlling myself and not touching and organising things in the room 🙂 My sons are controlling me! haha!! But I am quite happy that it was relatively neat 🙂 I could not help myself a bit and tried to fix Jaime’s duvet since I saw it collecting already on one side so it was not spread out evenly inside the cover so I fluffed it up a bit ( the checkered one ) 🙂 Very good! 🙂 Catching up a bit in the kitchen and dining hall of the dorm – Happy to be together!
We also got to meet the parents of Charley. Charley Dickey is already the 4th Generation in his family who has attended St. Paul’s School. Wow! 🙂 [email_link]

Ever since I was a kid, I remember happy memories at Rustan’s! Aside of course from visiting the toy section, What I always remember is that feeling of happiness and being in a different world when entering Rustan’s, because every September, the store is transformed into a different world! Every floor and every department is decorated in preparation for Christmas and it’s just a wondrous feeling.
As early as September, it is already Christmas in Rustan’s and I just love the feeling of Christmas!! I am happy that Christmas is not a one day celebration but a four month celebration where we can prepare for the special day of Jesus.
There is a pop up Christmas Shop in the Home floor
Rustan’s Flower shop has always been the destination for Christmas decorations. Part of the fun of Christmas is decorating your homes, your offices and all your other spaces and bringing that spirit of Christmas everywhere. Not only with flowers but with other decorative items. Many of them make beautiful gift items and it is best to shop early for those and give them early as well so they can be used already by the recipient.
What you will find in Rustan’s Flower Shop you will not find anywhere else in the Philippines. That is what makes it special and unique. There are many themes to choose from and you can also mix and match.
There is always the traditional gold, red and green because there are still many of like to stick to the traditional Christmas colors
And there are the non traditional themes. Christmas is after all for everyone and we decorate our homes in a way that makes us happy. The products at Rustan’s Flower Shop are of high quality that you can keep them and reuse them over and over. The florists in the shop can help you put together everything you buy. You can even bring your vases, wreaths, christmas trees and they can help put everything together for you.
And there is the Christmas Gift Registry for kids at the Children’s floor. Every year the theme changes and this year the theme is Toy Soldiers
Something new this year at Rustan’s is that the Christmas gift registry is open to all and not only for children. Anyone can go to the Children’s floor and sign up in the same place as your children. You can go to any department on any floor and select anything you want, from toys and clothes to perfume and dinnerware sets. The registry staff will keep up with you, listing down everything you choose.
When your wish list is complete, now it’s time for the last step – spreading the word! You will be given Christmas Registry cards that you can give to family, friends, and loved ones, letting them know that your preferred holiday gifts are at Rustan’s! With luck, you’ll be getting the gifts you want from Rustan’s this Christmas!
Breakfast Start the most important meal of the day with a fresh and cold Brisbane first-harvest mango, $4,200 each
Next, try some of the Zillion dollar lobster frittata. This misleading dish really costs “only” $1,000 and is full of lobster meat and caviar.
Lunch Start with some classic appetizers like cheese and bread. The cheese is Pule, a donkey cheese from Serbia that costs $700 per pound (450 grams). The bread is a Shepherd’s Loaf, made with a 55 year old sourdough recipe in Cotswolds, UK for the price of $35 per piece.
To clean your mouth before the next dish, try some Almas. This $25,000 rare caviar from Iran is sold in the Caviar House & Prunier in London and served in a 24 karat gold can.
Now you are ready to sink your teeth into a Wagyu Ribeye steak from Hyogo, Japan. The cows are given premium food to eat, beer and sake to drink, and get daily massages to keep their meat tender. The price of a steak from this 5 star cow resort? $2,800
If you are not in the mood for a steak and you want something more “simple”, try the Bacon Bling Burger. Made in the Tiato restaurant in Santa Monica, this burger is full of “rare breed bacon,” black truffles, saffron and truffle oil. the price is $235, not including fries.
Another great way to enjoy Wagyu beef is with some Anqi pho soup also found in the Tiato restaurant. This rich soup is full of white alba truffles, a foie gras broth and hand-raised bean sprouts, all for the price of $5,000.
For desert you can take a bite out of the cake from the Duke and Duchess of Windsor’s 1937 wedding. It was kept in a box after the wedding and sold at a public auction for $29,900 in 1998. I have no idea how it tastes today, but I’m willing to give it a try!
Dinner Your first dish will be a Florette Sea and Earth salad made by celebrity chef Raymond Blanc in the Hempel Hotel in London. The salad is made with of beluga caviar, grated truffle, gold leaf, Cornish crab and lobster. The dressing offered is a 30 year old balsamic sauce which tips the price of this artistic plate just a bit over $1,000.
The Albarragena jamon Iberico de Bellota is a ham dish from pigs raised in Spain and served in London for $2,682. Each ham comes with its own DNA certificate proving its origin and quality.
Your desert will be the $25,000 Frrrozen Haute chocolate ice cream from New York. It consists of a blend of cocoas, including 14 of the world’s most expensive varieties. Topped with edible 24-karat gold, and served in a golden goblet you can take home with you, this is the most expensive desert is the world.
As you sit back and relax after your day of culinary delights, sip some Henri Jayer Richebourg Grand Cru, the most expensive wine in the world. The average price of a bottle is $16,500 and it’s made from the finest Pinot Noir grapes in the world.
