City of Dreams will soon be opening and will be located in the Entertainment city and will encompass 6.2 hectares of space. It will be a whole experience which will include accommodations, gaming, dining and shopping. There will be three hotels – Nobu, Hyatt and Crown Regency

Nobu is a family favorite and we are definitely looking forward to the opening of Nobu Hotel and Nobu Chef’s Table. I have tried three Nobu’s including Nobu New York which was many years ago. I was not blogging yet at the time, so only the other two are documented. It’s always an experience to remember. We don’t need to go too far anymore to have this experience!!

Yesterday several of the Nobu Hotel team gave us a preview of things to come at Nobu Chef’s Table
Chef Zach Hillbery will be the Executive Chef at Nobu. He and his team prepared a wonderful lunch with nine dishes. In all those nine dishes not one flavor was the same and that is what Nobu is all about. Aside from the unique flavors of each dish, there is a nice feeling of not feeling heavy after the meal. That is a very Japanese trait which many will benefit from. Not having the heavy feeling after meal just means it was a healthy meal 🙂
Tuna Taquitos

King Crab Amazu Ponzu
Black Cod ( Alaskan ) Den Miso which is Nobu’s Signature Dish
Chef Akihisa Kawai will be the Sushi Chef at Nobu 
Kanji – Raspberry gelee, plum cream, green tea sponge cake finished with orange merengue and strawberries Palate cleanser – Yamamomo – Japanese wild mountain peach
Other Nobu dishes
Tiradito
9 pieces of thinly sliced whitefish sashimi, served with a dot of rocotto chili on each piece, cilantro, yuzu-lemon juice, and a sprinkle of cyprus black sea salt.
Tartars
Toro, salmon, or yellowtail finely chopped with onion and garlic, topped with scallion and sterling caviar. Served with wasabi soy and a small spoon. Yamammomo (mountain peach) is served on the side to cleanse the palate.
Squid Pasta
Squid cut to resemble pasta, sautéed with asparagus and shiitake in a light garlic sauce.
Sashimi Salad
7 pieces of pepper sprinkled & seared bigeye tuna sashimi, served around organic mesclun greens, topped with shredded daikon radish, and Matsuhisa Dressing
Salmon Sahimi
Rock Shrimp Tempura
A handful of rock tempura tossed with creamy spicy or butter ponzu sauce. Both are served on a bed of greens with yuzu dressing.

Mediterranean food is good because it is considered healthy because of the ingredients that they use and I love the grilled kebabs and lamb dishes!!
We got the Mezze Platter B as recommended by the waiter
YUM!! Chermoula Chicken wings!! Too bad they only had one order left. Grilled is always better than fried
Love love brochettes/kebabs!!! Whether it’s Persian, Morroccan, Turkish, Lebanese – as long as grilled, tender and juicy and very tasty 🙂

So many things to do in Boracay!!
We actually did the Banana Boat for the kids 🙂 I rode the speedboat pulling the banana boat so I could take the video and photos of the kids. Best to have goggles so the salt water does not go into your eye – look at Javier covering his eyes while Mio with goggles was very okay 🙂 
The boatmen are so good they know – we got to the end of the island, positioned the banana boat and let me take photo haha!!

Tell your kids not to get down in the water because it does not look too clean- the water is green. Best to just get out on the side of the pool

Being in Discovery Shores, I was thinking of my friend, Happy. And again my thoughts came true – she was there with her family!! 🙂 Celebrating her eldest son, Renzo’s, birthday ( but not in the photo)
She recently opened Pamana a few months ago!! CONGRATS!!!! She has a very good location!!

Selfie sticks and waterproof holders for cameras. It’s cheap but Be careful because if the selfie stick is defective you can drop your phone or camera and same with the waterproof case – breaking your camera is more expensive than the selfie stick or the waterproof bag
