The Asian Cultural Council Philippines ( ACCP ) will be having their Art Auction this coming February 7, Saturday at 2pm, Leon Gallery G/F Eurovilla 1, Rufino corner Legazpi Streets, Legazpi Village, Makati City, Philippines.

ACC Philippines Foundation (ACCPF) was established in 2000 as a partner of ACC to increase international opportunities for artists, scholars, and cultural organizations in the Philippines. Over the last 14 years, ACC and ACCPF are privileged to count more than 300 Filipino artists, scholars and specialists amongst its distinguished alumni.

Jaime Ponce De Leon, founder and owner of Leon Gallery. A very young guy at age 35 who came from Dumaguete ( and even became Barangay Captain there ) then moved to Manila and took up Interior Design and found himself selling art on the side until he opened his own gallery in 2010 and later on opened the Auction house in late 2012. 22 pieces out of the 156 works of art are directly donated by various artists, three of which are ACCP grantees – Ambie Abano, Sam Penaso and Don Salubayba. 40% of the sale will go to the fellowship program. Leon Gallery will also be giving a percentage of the proceeds to the ACCP. Last year, the ACCP was able to give 4 grants
