We visited the home of Dulce Magat Gibb
She’s a good friend of Dedet and helped her with her table setting and food presentation. This time Dedet convinced her to offer her food for more people to enjoy. She launched her Gourmet to Go food.
She was a former chef of Via Mare for 3 years. She got married to a British guy and traveled to HK, KL and Saudi as part of the her husband’s work and from from then on she “Entertained without price” 🙂 She told me that what she cooks are the food that they love to serve for themselves and for their friends. So it ranges from Asian, Western Mexican and Middle Eastern. A Table ( “kain na” or “let’s eat”)
Her house is a work of all her creations – putting together different fabrics and things that she buys when she travels and when she lived in different parts of the world
Thank you Dulce for sharing your home, your family, your food and most especially your love 🙂
With many delicious appetisers of course 🙂
She should package these cheddar crackers and sell them. Yum!
The white part which looks like snow is actually salt! That is a lot of salt! 🙂
Dulce told me that she has plenty accessories and things and she loves mixing and matching them and coming up with her settings. The tablecloth for example is a fabric for a sari. She said it is hard to find a sari fabric that is long so this is actually a rare piece
Bouillabaisse Inspired Seafood Soup
My favorite dish. I am learning to love salmon. I never used to eat salmon but nowadays I have been trying a lot of good salmon.
I think one of the secrets is having good sauces 🙂 Make sure to order the sauces. Baked Whole Salmon in Salt Crust served with Shallot Vergus cream, Egg yogurt tartare, and Calamansi brown butter
Crispy Roast Pork Belly by A Table served with mashed potato, and cauliflower and cheese sauce. Condiments: Dijon Mustard, Ligonberry sauce and gravy. Fresh herbs are from her garden
If you will look at Dulce’s dishes, they are all very tedious and complicated to make!! So as she says – it’s a labor of love!!
Her desserts are even more tedious and laborious!!
Every dish has a proper label and even the giveaway! Thank you Dulce Magat Gibb for a wonderful dinner and most especially for your kind hospitality

Am so humbled for this article of the dinner, Rica. Such detailed photos that you took. Feeling very conscious and don’t want to look up close for now just in case I get OC with stuff we didn’t do as well but got so photogenic with your kind lens. I had so enjoyed having you and James over. Thank you both for joining us. Here’s to many more eating sessions in the future. Love people who enjoys food as much as I do. Maraming Salamat!
