I got so scared when I read these two articles!! My work now entails a lot of work on the computer so I do a lot of sitting when I am not at an event or out. And true enough I got Cervical Spondylyosis because of sitting too long and looking down at my laptop and cellphone for many hours in a day! I promised I would share my experience because I would not want anyone to go through this problem. The spine is so delicate and we should avoid getting any problems in the spine! My doctor has advised me to change my lifestyle and stand up every 30 minutes to walk around and drink water.
Sharing here some tips or some recommended ways to avoid putting your spine at risk
The right sitting posture is important too. Who ever told us this?? Standing is the best for the spine Even my friend, Ina, read the same article and so she did this. When doing this, you need to make sure you are wearing rubber shoes or the right shoes so you also do not get problems with your posture or back as well

When sitting, a proper office chair is also important – it cannot be just any chair. You can strain your muscles if not using the proper office chair and that is what happened to me. I was using a foldable chair for my work in the house which is also one of the reasons for my cervical spondylosis. For those who work a lot on a desk, It would be wise to spend for a proper chair to avoid future health concerns.

Posture in the toilet 🙂 My doctor said that many people in China have spine problems because of bad posture in the toiletStand and drink water every 30 minutes. It is best to drink water in small amounts ( 4 to 8 oz each time ) each time instead of drinking too much water in one go because the body can only absorb so much in one time
My therapist said to walk around who brushing your teeth – we have a tendency to bend forward when we are in the sink but if you stand straight and walk you don’t have to worry about anything spilling and you have a better posture standing straight then bending
