Manila, December 17, 2015 – Christmas holiday celebrations at the newest integrated resort in Manila are made more exciting as premium Christmas menus in City of Dreams Manila’s signature restaurants and an array of family-themed activities at DreamPlay await loved ones, families, and friends looking forward to a truly festive Yuletide season.
The Tasting Room’s Christmas Menu
On December 24 and 25, The Tasting Room will be offering a Christmas Dinner Tasting Menu for an exclusive 50 guests each evening. Priced at P 4,500++ per cover with an option of wine pairing for an additional P 2,000++ per guest, the five-course holiday feast begins with Duck Liver Confit with Black Truffle (paired with Champagne Bruno Paillard Brut Premier Cuvee), followed by the Wild Salmon Trout (and Viuja, Vina Real Barrel Fermented, Cune, Spain, 2012); Brittany Dive Scallops (with Bordeaux Clarendelle White wine, France, 2013); Dry Aged Wagyu Beef MB6 (and Chateauneuf Du Pape, La Bernardine, Michel Chapoutier, France, 2012), concluded with an aerated Chocolate dessert with caramel, Buche de Noel, and milk (matched with Banyuls, Michel Chapoutier, France, 2013). The Tasting Room’s a la carte menu will not be available during the Christmas Dinner promotion.
Nobu Manila’s Christmas Omakase Menu
From December 24 to 27, Nobu Manila serves up a Japanese culinary experience through an Christmas Omakase menu for P 5,288++ per guest. Eight dishes showcase Chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s distinct fusion-style aromas and flavors: Yellow Fin Tuna Tartar, Oscietra Caviar and Quail Egg with Wasabi Soy; Chef’s Selection of Seasonal Sushi; Chu-Toro Jalapeno, Ama-ebi Tiradito, New Style Sashimi; Kampachi & Shrimp Sashimi Salad with Matsuhisa Dressing; Black Cod Miso; Grilled Ohmi Wagyu with Truffle Yuzu; Chawan mushi; and Kanji. The regular menu will be offered for diners who wish to celebrate the holidays with Nobu‘s signature courses.
Red Ginger’s Festive Season Platters
A month-long Yuletide celebration for patrons of Southeast Asian restaurant, Red Ginger, offers hearty courses daily for lunch and dinner. Made available until January 5, 2016, Red Ginger’s Festive Season Platters are ideal for sharing with families and friends in groups of four, and allow diners to explore the establishment’s range of Asian cuisine, from the Roast Loin of Pork with Crispy Crackling and Apple – Tamarind Caramel sauce priced at P 990++, Thai Style Whole Snapper in Banana Leaf and Roasted Rice Dipping for P 1,180++, Vietnamese Style Roasted Duck and Dalandan Chutney at P 1,480++, and the 3 Pieces Whole Slipper Lobster with Ginger & Coriander Soy and Spicy Pickled Green Papaya for P 2,290++. Each dish serves up to four persons and is served with Lotus Leaf Sticky Rice, Vietnamese Slaw, and Peas & Carrot Casserole.
Shrek the Halls at DreamPlay
A fun and memorable Christmas holiday package awaits at the DreamWorks-inspired play space, DreamPlay, every weekend of December. Kids and parents can bake with Gingy by creating a special holiday ginger bread cookie with holiday-themed cookie cutters and icing, enjoy front row and bean bag seating for a Christmas storytelling afternoon at the DreamTales Library, and interact and take photos with Shrek dressed as Santa Claus. Plus, they can indulge in more than twelve exhilarating attractions from movies such as How to Train Your Dragon, Shrek, Kung Fu Panda, and Madagascar. For the Shrek the Halls Christmas package, a Four-Hour pass is priced at P 1,130++ and an All-Day pass is for P 1,750++. Regular admission rates are also offered during the holiday promotion.
