In Kaikoura, there are many animal activities – with seals, whales and dolphins. Since we were just driving through, we stopped to look at some seals by the coast

Hundreds of baby seal pups come to the Ohau stream during the winter time while their mothers go out to the Kaikoura coast. The pups then have to go back to the coast to feed on their mothers.
