Banff is the base city when you want to visit the Canadian Rockies. There are several ways to get here- by bus/car, by train ( we took the Rocky Mountaineer ) and by plane via Calgary which is 30 minutes by car to Banff. I highly recommend taking the one way Rocky Mountaineer train going to Banff 🙂 Then when you get to Banff stay 2 nights minimum so you can enjoy the city and relax and see the sights around the area – the Canadian Rockies
